Words cannot describe the feelings I have for this Sepang Blue Avant. It's a 2006 A6 Avant that has been converted to an S6 Avant. A friend of ours pointed us to the Craigslist ad. That's right, it's a C6 S6 Avant...that's for sale...in Seattle.
German AutoHaus Woodinville built this wunderwagen sometime before 2016. The photo of the unpainted Avant pictured in the gallery was uploaded to their Facebook page in October 20...

Ever wonder why Audi's design language have been repetitive across its lineup? In a recent interview with UK magazine Autocar, Audi CEO Rupert Stadler stated that it was deliberate "to make Audis more recognizable in newer and emerging markets. Now we are well known in major markets like China, we can begin to change this philosophy and give each car its own look.”
“We recognise that there is a place for more differentiation now," added Marc Lic...

Looking for ways to kill time over this holiday non-work week? We were too, which got us to fantasizing about the Audi RS 3 sedan and some 20-inch wheel options for the car. The renderings turned out rather well which got us to wanting an RS 3 even more. We figured we'd share.
Wheel Option #1: Audi Sport performance parts
Audi Sport announced its line of performance parts as early as last fall at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Thus far, they've only r...

SQ7 vs. Focus RS drag race...did I read that correctly?
My morning routine is to surf the web for interesting Audi tidbits and this classifies as interesting. Top Gear's YouTube channel just released this unusual drag race video. Soccer Mom vs. Boy Racer is what flashed through my mind as I read the description.
Pictured above is the mighty Audi SQ7 TDI...something we don't have in the States and may never get. This 5,004lb 435hp 4.0L supercha...

Recently, AutoTopNL took a TT RS and an M2 out on the Autobahn for an acceleration and top speed test. The M2 is powered by the 370hp N55 engine and the TT RS has the 400hp 2.5 5 cylinder.
Numbers would indicate that the TT RS is faster but having a POV video really nails the difference between these two machines.

Any conversation about which Audi is the most desirable and most likely, the RS 2 Avant is at or near the top of the list. Alas (at least for us in the States) we won't be able to legally import one until 2019 because of the 25-year import laws not to mention the sky high prices that are listed for them. Rats.
However, there are options. In 1993, Audi produced the S2 Avant powered by the 230hp 2.2L turbo 5. 1993 + 25 years = joy for Americans who want...

For this Christmas season, Audi Germany released a new version of the Cinderella fairytale entitled Ever After. It's in German but the story is very familiar and the animation is fantastic. (Update: We found it in English).
It starts with a young girl gazing out the window on Christmas Eve at bedtime. Her father tucks her in and reads her her favorite fairytale. As he tells the t...

An upsetting report from Automobile Magazine earlier today stated that Audi will phase out the R8 in 2020 when the next generation Lamborghini Huracán arrives. The R8 e-tron and the 1,000hp Scorpion supercar are also shelved. But there is good news with talk of the range topping RS Q8 so not all is doom and gloom.

Though this video is a couple of months old, it's always a thrill to see a driver's point of view on a track. The track is Road Atlanta, home of the Petit Le Mans, and the driver is Ian Baas. The vehicle in question is APR's Audi RS 3 outfitted with APR 93 and Ethanol ECU upgrades, APR 19x8.5 forged wheels, Pirelli Trofeo R tires, and APR Development lowering springs.
On what looks to be a track day, Ian passes Porsches and BMWs with ease. Make sure you have...
