Find of the Day: 2006 A6 Avant to S6 Avant Conversion For Sale...in The States

Words cannot describe the feelings I have for this Sepang Blue Avant. It’s a 2006 A6 Avant that has been converted to an S6 Avant. A friend of ours pointed us to the Craigslist ad. That’s right, it’s a C6 S6 Avant…that’s for sale…in Seattle.

German AutoHaus Woodinville built this wunderwagen sometime before 2016. The photo of the unpainted Avant pictured in the gallery was uploaded to their Facebook page in October 2015.

The Craigslist ad has little information about the actual car:

The heart of the C6 S6 is the 5.2l 429hp V10. The States got to experience the S6 sedan but not the Avant. From what I can tell, German AutoHaus Woodinville moved the engine, dynamic suspension, brakes, and interior into the Avant. This car is so well done that it won Best of Show at the 2016 Audi Expo.

It’s listed for $35,000. Is it worth the asking price? I say yes. To build this car today would probably cost you more. Would I want to buy it? Yes and even the ad says it’s WIFE APPROVED.
