Dan Daubenspeck – President

I have been an Audi Club member since January 2020, after buying a 2011 Q5 as my first Audi.  I saw an ad for the Audi Club in a 2008 edition of quattro while my car was being services, and decided that I wanted to fully immerse myself in the Audi culture and signed up. Shortly after becoming a member, I reached out to the local chapter to see if I could volunteer some time with any of the club activities or functions. I was also trying to do the same thing on a national level after reading a call for volunteers on that level. Shortly after reaching out to both groups, I joined the RMC as an interim board member and was also accepted an invitation to join the membership committee on the national level.

My vision for the RMC is to continue the work of the existing board members, and members leaving the board by increasing membership and the membership experience for our local chapter. The current board, excluding myself, due to being new, have laid a solid foundation for the club and are to be commended for their prior service. I would like to continue as a member of the board and work to continue advancing the vision of the board to date. In addition to the benefits afforded to members on the national level, I would like to further introduce additional value to our chapter members with expanded education opportunities, social events,  community outreach and maintain strong relationships with dealers and other Audi service providers, and would envision extending all these items to members across the entire geographic areas of the RMC.

Chris Pagan – Vice President

“I have been an Audi enthusiast since I was in my early teens before I could even drive! My first email address back when I was a youth was Audi inspired. I have loved every Audi I have ever owned(currently on my 3rd) and l would be honored to help share and spread that enthusiasm to other members by being apart of the board. The joy of Audi ownership also runs on my family as my 2 daughters are in love with the brand just as much as I am.

I believe my work experience background will also make me a great board member. I have worked in various industries including running different kitchens as a chef, I used to work in the insurance industry for a number of years and I am currently and have been working in the financial industry for a number of years now. I am very organized, I have great analytical skills, and I have great attention to detail. I am looking forward to being more involved in the events this year and I am looking forward to creating some awesome memories with you all.

Peter Geise – Treasurer

Peter was appointed to the board in 2021 after our last election and has been serving since that time.  Peter has been invaluable to the board with contributions in the areas of sponsorship, helping to secure Flatirons Audi as the signature sponsor of our charitable golf tournament last year, and helping to establish a working relationship with Nokian Tyres during our ice driving events this year.  As an appointed member of the board, and in accordance with our chapter by-laws, it is required that Peter be elected by the chapter membership, resulting in his name being on this year’s list of candidates.  As president of the board, I fully endorse his nomination and look forward to his continued contributions to the success of the Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Saul Rivkin – Secretary

My love affair with Audi’s started in 2009 when I inherited my mother’s 1999 A4 2.8 quattro. I quickly fell in love with the German engineering, how quick and responsive the car was, as well as its solid construction. A few years later I traded it in (and also sold a few Merkurs to clear the driveway and garage) for my first S4; a used Ibis White 2010 Prestige. Wow, I had just entered a whole-new love experience with lots more power! After two years of ownership, I traded that in for the S4 I still have now, a Glacier White 2012 S4.

With this S4, I started to become involved in many Audi groups including the Audi Club of North

America, Audizine, and many more. A short while later, I started modifying my S4 to make it stand out and to open up its true potential. It is fully tuned and modified with many APR parts, a custom exhaust I fabricated, and many other unique features. The car now puts down over 600 hp with a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds… on pump gas and street tires.

After attending a few ACNA events I started to volunteer in my local chapter. I then started attending ACNA National events and became involved by volunteering at many of those as well, such as, Waterfest, Carlisle, Simeone Museum, the 2019 National event, and many more. After a few years of volunteering, I stepped up, ran, and became the president of the Eastern PA chapter. I quickly became known at many Audi events as someone who was willing to always help out and step up to be involved in any way I could.

I am excited to use my experience, enthusiasm, and passion to serve as your board member to help the chapter and you get the most out of Audi ownership and the Audi Club North America Rocky Mountain Chapter.

On a more personal note, I am the proud father of four daughters from my first marriage and had lived in Pennsylvania my entire life, until August 2022 that is! Two of my daughters moved to Denver a few years prior, and once Covid restrictions lifted, I came out to visit them. Needless to say, I fell in love with Colorado, so much so, I moved here one year later. Big changes were in store for me! My husband Jeff and I moved to Berthoud in August 2022 and opened up Rocky Mountain Performance & Design, an enthusiast’s headquarters where custom work is expertly and meticulously performed.

Ian Martin – Director at Large

I am a recent addition to the ranks of Audi Enthusiasts, getting my first 4-ring vehicle 3 years ago with a 2014 S5. This was my first car that I was really “proud” of, and I loved that was both luxury and performance in a great looking form. In a fairly short amount of time, I felt right at home in the Audi family.

It began with learning about all the mods that are possible on the B8 platform via Audizine (and, oh my, are there a lot!). At a Euro Cars gathering I saw the Audi Club booth, and was clued in that there was a whole other part of the Audi scene that I didn’t know about. It happened that the next weekend the club was going to the Snowmass car show + wine festival, so a last minute decision was made to drag the family with me to Snowmass. Getting to drive the track there in my own Audi was probably the thing that “did it” for me, and I was hooked. I became an ACNA member in 2019.

In the last few years I’ve enjoyed being able to be part of the Rocky Mountain Chapter and participated in High Plains track days, Car Shows, Autocross, Detailing and fun “hang out” events. I’ve always had an inclination for volunteering, and I’ve helped both the Audi and Porsche clubs at multiple Autocross events in the last few years as well. (I’ve also volunteered in the past for the Great American Beer Festival for about 7 years).

I’d like to continue my involvement in RMC Audi Club by putting my effort into a leadership role on the board. I would like to help to grow our chapter in membership and activities. I can also provide knowledge in IT support for the club, my professional job being a Software Architect. I am an understanding and empathetic person, and would gladly listen to comments and suggestions from other club members to facilitate the board accomplishing what its members want to see from our chapter.

I enjoy cars: talking with others, working on them, researching about them – and driving them! However, over the course of the last few years I’ve come to understand that the most important thing about car clubs are the people. The best events we have are when other Audi Enthusiasts attend and participate to create community. I believe I can help bring more of that to our club.

Scott Newell – Director at Large

Scott is a Colorado native and a longtime auto enthusiast. His auto journey started with American muscle, followed by a stint in the JDM scene before finding his passion within in the German brands. His first Audi was a 2006 manual S4. Aside from adding full bolt-ons, he also had one of the first PES superchargers in the country installed. It was a great sounding and thrilling ride. In addition to enjoying his cars, Scott also enjoyed photographing cars. He spent time photographing cars for local shops, national publications, and media outlets for multiple SEMA shows. He also created 5280 Fest, a large annual auto show for the local community.

During this time, he moved away from the Audi brand and into Porsche. He had a 2014 Cayenne S, great for mountain runs and hauling groceries. That was followed by a 2017 Porsche Macan GTS. This little SUV was customized with Vossen wheels, lowered suspension, custom carbon bits, intake, intercoolers, and a protune. He took this gem on various rallies and road trips to Moab and California. The allure of fully capable SUV’s was starting to wane which prompted Scott to sale his Macan and get a 2018 Porsche Cayman GTS.  He also needed a daily driver, so he snagged a 2020 Audi Q3 in the process. Truth be told, Scott enjoyed the Q3 more than his prior two Porsche SUV’s which reinvigorated his passion for Audi. His Porsche Cayman GTS was highly modified, and he spent most of his weekends driving in the mountains or hanging out with the local Porsche Club of America community. Speaking of the PCA, Scott helped coordinate events with the local chapter and set up shop events with local mechanics. He also can be found attending the weekend cars and coffees, Audi group meets, and local rallies in Colorado. Scott found himself spending more time with Audi groups and fawning over Audi sport and Audi RS cars, the RS6 in particular. He decided to pull the plug and purchase a Audi RS6 and become fully committed to the Audi brand in 2023.

Outside of cars, Scott is an avid hiker, photographer, frequent traveler, and CEO of a national professional services firm.

He enjoys working with local shops, local groups, and creating partnerships to advance meaningful causes.

Jeff Steigelmann – Director at Large

Hello all! My name is Jeff Steigelmann. I’ve been a member of the ACNA for just over 7 years.
However, I’ve been a VW/Audi obsessed enthusiast for far longer. Since entering the world of quality
German engineering, I have owned five Jetta’s (MKIII/MKIV), three B5 S4’s (two being Nogaros), two B8
S4’s, a handful of other Audis, and I am currently in the process of building a big turbo B5 A4 Avant that
I’m looking forward to bringing to many events here in Colorado!

Since moving to Berthoud, Colorado, I have attended countless car shows, cars & coffee events,
day and night time meets, drives, and anything else we’ve found that was enthusiast related. Saul and I
have aspirations to hold events of all types here at our shop with high hopes that we can provide an
inviting and comfortable environment for ACNA members and nonmembers alike. In the long run, we
hope to be a name people come to know and trust with their automotive wants and needs.

I’m a co-owner of Rocky Mountain Performance & Design with Saul, the previous ACNA
president of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, which has given me plenty of experience with assisting
the club in many ways. I have experience with welding, fabricating, machine work and many other
automotive related talents that I truly enjoy sharing with other enthusiasts whenever I’m able to. I hope
I can bring my energy and drive to the Audi Club Rocky Mountain Chapter for years to come!
