Find of the Day: This One-Owner, Six-Speed Audi Allroad Is Selling at No Reserve
Finding a C5 Audi Allroad for sale isn’t particularly difficult. Finding one with a six-speed manual transmission takes a little more effort. Finding one that’s still being sold by the person who bought it new more than two decades ago? Now you have our attention.
This 2004 Audi Allroad Quattro was purchased new from Beverly Hills Audi in California and has remained with its original owner ever since. Better yet, it’s currently being auctioned on Bring a Trailer with no reserve, meaning somebody is taking this wonderfully early-2000s Audi home regardless of where the bidding ends.
Tasteful Mods
Finished in Atlas Gray Metallic over black and silver leather, the Allroad has covered 159,000 miles. Under the hood is Audi’s familiar twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6, which was rated at 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. More importantly, it’s connected to a six-speed manual transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive with a Torsen center differential. That’s a combination we wouldn’t mind putting another 159,000 miles on.
The original buyer also checked plenty of option boxes. Equipment includes the Premium and Cold Weather packages, navigation, rear Parktronic, xenon headlights, a sunroof, and heated front and rear seats. A Reus audio system was installed shortly after the car was purchased, while a GROM Bluetooth module adds at least one modern convenience.
This isn’t an untouched time capsule. The adaptive suspension has been modified with an Arnott rear coil-spring conversion and Hotchkis H-Sport sway bars. Both turbochargers have also been replaced over the years, and recent maintenance includes a power-steering pump, rear airbags, tie-rod ends, lower control-arm bushings, front brakes, one front strut, and a battery.
There are cosmetic imperfections as well, including a sagging headliner, worn driver’s seat bolsters, and damage to the front bumper. Frankly, that makes us like it more. This isn’t a collector Allroad that spent 22 years hiding in a climate-controlled garage. It’s a one-owner, three-pedal Audi that’s been driven, maintained, and enjoyed exactly as intended. And with no reserve, it’s about to find owner number two. Bidding ends on Tuesday, October 13.
