Find of the Day: This Nardo Gray ABT RS 6 Avant Is 690 HP of Wagon Perfection

There isn’t much wrong with a stock Audi RS 6 Avant. You get supercar-rivaling performance, quattro all-wheel drive, room for the family, and enough cargo space to make a crossover seem unnecessary. But apparently ABT Sportsline looked at Audi’s ultimate wagon and decided it could use a little more of everything.

That’s how you end up with this 2021 Audi RS 6 Avant currently being auctioned on Bring a Trailer. Finished in Nardo Gray over a black leather interior, it has been fitted with ABT’s Legacy Edition package and shows just 14,000 miles. Better still, the fender inserts and door sills identify it as one of 200.

The biggest change is under the hood. The C8 RS 6’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 normally produced 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft when new. This example has an ABT tune and exhaust that raise output to a claimed 690 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque. Power still goes through an eight-speed Tiptronic and quattro all-wheel drive with a sport rear differential.

More Than Just Extra Power

ABT didn’t stop with the engine. The Legacy Edition treatment includes 22-inch forged wheels and height-adjustable springs, along with an extensive collection of carbon-fiber parts. The hood insert, front lip, side skirts, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and spoiler all receive the lightweight material. RS 6-LE logos on the front lip and diffuser provide another clue that this isn’t a stock RS 6.

Inside, ABT added Dinamica seat inserts, embroidered headrests, special floor mats, numbered door sills, and additional Dinamica trim. The steering wheel and paddle shifters have also been retrimmed with red stitching. Factory equipment includes heated and ventilated RS sport seats, Bang & Olufsen 3D audio, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, and a panoramic roof.

The seller purchased the RS 6 new, and all 14,000 miles were accumulated under the current ownership. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage, and the sale includes the ABT certificate, original window sticker, service records, two keys, and owner’s manual. Bidding ends on Friday, October 2.
