Audi Teases All-New Q7 Ahead of Full Reveal
[Source: Audi]
It is no secret that Audi will be releasing a third generation of the Q7 and high-performance SQ7. We have been seeing test mules in various states of disguise for months. Well, now we get our first official look at the all-new Q7 directly from Audi. Isn’t it beautiful?
Well, there is only so much you can tell from a closeup of the passenger door and side view mirror but that is the whole point of a teaser picture. It is meant to build the excitement prior to the full reveal. And that full reveal is almost here.
Third Generation Q7
Now entering its third generation, the all-new Q7 promises to build on that success with a fresh design, new technology, and an even more premium driving experience. While Audi is keeping most details under wraps for now, the teaser image reveals a sharper, more sculpted front-end design that appears to draw inspiration from the brand’s latest electric and combustion-powered models.
Audi says the new Q7 will combine versatility, confidence, and premium craftsmanship while offering a broader range of driving characteristics, from comfortable long-distance cruising to more dynamic performance. Expect a thoroughly modern interior featuring the latest generation of Audi’s digital technology, advanced driver-assistance systems, and upgraded materials throughout the cabin.
The timing of the reveal is particularly significant. The new Q7 arrives as part of Audi’s ongoing product offensive and will soon be joined by the all-new Q9. Set to debut later this year, the Q9 will sit above the Q7 as Audi’s flagship SUV, giving the brand a stronger presence in the full-size luxury SUV market.
Even with the Q9 on the horizon, the Q7 remains one of Audi’s most important models. It serves as the brand’s versatile three-row family hauler while also offering the refinement and technology buyers expect from a premium German luxury vehicle.
Audi has not yet announced full specifications or powertrain details, but we expect revised 2.0L and 3.0L engine options, and an updated 4.0L V8 for the SQ7. Audi enthusiasts won’t have to wait much longer to see the full picture.
