2027 Audi SQ7 Spotted Again as Release Date Nears

About a month ago we shared spy photos of the next-generation Audi SQ7. It was wearing simple black camouflage which gave us our best look yet at the powerful SUV. We now have another batch of photos to share as the reveal date draws closer.

The newest spy photos of the Audi SQ7 contain some new angles but we can’t ascertain much more in the way of details about the vehicle. The question we all have is will it continue to be powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8? We don’t know. There are some nice fat exhaust pipes, but they could just as well be for a 6-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine.

The interior of the new SQ7 will likely follow the design language of the new Q3. And we expect a modest bump up in MSRP as well. The 2026 SQ7 starts at just under $94,000. The 2027 model will likely have a starting price that crosses the six-figure threshold.

With a minimal level of camouflage, the official reveal should be held soon. Our hope is that we get that reveal this year and the SUV goes on sale sometime in 2026 as a 2027 model. Spy shots are great, but we are ready for the real thing.
