Our Best Look Yet at the Next-Gen Audi SQ7
It has been spied at the Nürburgring, and now it has been spied on the street. We get our best look yet at the exciting next generation Audi SQ7. Wearing just simple black camouflage we can clearly see the muscular lines of this high-performance SUV.
The current Audi SQ7 features a glorious 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that produces a healthy 500 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque. The powerplant for the new SQ7 has yet to be confirmed. Although we remain hopeful that a version of this same engine is an option. A plug-in hybrid with a 6-cylinder engine is also likely.
The test mule that was spotted appears to be wearing a staggered set of Pirelli P Zero tires. They are 22-inches front and back, but the front tires are 285/40 and out back are meaty 305/35 gumballs. The current SQ7 uses a square setup with tires that are 285 millimeters wide all around.
The new Q7 and SQ7 could debut before the end of this year before going on sale in 2026. We are excited about the reveal and the prospect of testing the limit of grip of those new tires.
