Unitronic® is proud to release its new Fuel System Upgrades for the 2.0TSI EA888 EVO4 platform to help customers reach new heights with their vehicles. These fuel system upgrades offer a significant increase in capacity and are needed in order to retain safety and produce maximum power with ethanol for all stages on the MK8 Golf R/8Y S3 and Stage 3 E85 for the MK8 GTI. For MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3:

Anchored at the center of the MPI Upgrade Kit for 2.0TSI EVO4 vehicles is Unitronic’s billet Aluminum CNC-machined Fuel Rail, constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum which is hard anodized black for durability and ethanol resistance. This Fuel Rail mounts neatly above the intake manifold and is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with Bosch Motorsport’s 980cc fuel injectors, which are included in the kit, for increased flow and power. Adding port side fuel injection has the added benefit of cleaning intake valves to help minimize carbon deposits on direct injected vehicles as well.
Bosch Motorsport EV 14 980cc Fuel Injectors are utilized with a Bosch Fuel Pressure Sensor. A genuine Continental ethanol content sensor is also utilized with premium fuel lines featuring pinch clamps that provide permanent and reliable sealing, superior to OEM. NOTE: Unitronic also offers an MPI Upgrade Kit Without Port Side Injectors for anyone using a different tuner that has other port injector preferences.
To simplify the installation process, a complete plug and play wiring harness is included so there’s no need for cutting, splicing or making any other permanent changes to your vehicle’s factory wiring harnesses. A precision drill bit and guide are also included to help simplify the installation process and prepare the OEM intake manifold for this upgrade. All required hardware is included with this kit in order to provide seamless integration with the OEM ECU. This upgrade helps unlock MPI specific tuning and more ethanol support for the MK8 GTI, Golf R and 8Y S3 which is coming up very soon from Unitronic.

Through extensive in-house and on-track testing under the most demanding conditions, Unitronic Software Engineers quickly determined the need for increased fueling capacity in Stage 3 (turbo upgrade with ethanol) applications for the MK8 GTI. As a result, Unitronic is proud to release its Low Pressure Fuel Pump Solution for the MK8 GTI which allows customers to greatly increase their vehicle’s fuel flow while providing greater stability under load for improved performance and reliability.
Unitronic’s LPFP solution contains an upgraded brushless LPFP unit, upgraded brushless LPFP controller, OEM fuel level sender, OEM replacement gasket, plug and play wiring harness, chemically resistant proprietary fittings and more. A Complete Fuel System Upgrade containing the MPI Upgrade Kit and LPFP Solution is also available for the MK8 GTI. As with all Unitronic Hardware Upgrades, this kit provides seamless integration which does not require any splicing, trimming or vehicle modification in order to complete the installation.
