Rain or Shine Audi Delivers Worldwide Racing Success in GT3 and TCR

Audi customer teams prove that if you have to race in the rain, you want to be behind the wheel of an Audi. The Thailand Super Series in Malaysia and GT America powered by AWS in America both had to deal with heavy downpours during the race. And an Audi R8 LMS GT3 came away victorious each time. In drier conditions at the fifth race weekend of the 2025 DTM season Audi took a podium, and the fourth round of the Racing NM club racing championship saw an Audi take a win and multiple podiums.

Audi also scored some positive results in Touring Car racing in Germany and China. Audi RS 3 LMS cars achieved three podium finishes in different classes in the sixth round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. In the fourth round of the TCR China Challenge an RS 3 LMS took victory in one race and finished second in another.

Thailand Super Series – Team B-Quik Absolute Racing Claims Second Overall Win of the Year

The third round of the series was held in Malaysia. Racers were faced with unpredictable weather conditions. Akash Nandy and Adisak Tangphuncharoen overcame a longer pit stop and a late downpour to take victory in their Audi R8 LMS. Nandy and Tangphuncharoen took first, with teammates Haziq Oh and Aaron Lim finishing second and winning the GT3 amateur class. It marked Nandy’s second win of the season and Audi Sport customer racing’s continued global success.

GT America powered by AWS – Team SKI Autosports Claims Second Victory of Season

In a rain-affected first race, Memo Gidley skillfully navigated treacherous conditions to win by 4.1 seconds after a red-flag-shortened event. In the second race, Gidley started from pole but was spun in the first corner and dropped to the back. He fought back impressively, finishing second after a hard-fought battle, securing a strong recovery result for the team.

Land-Motorsport – Earns First Podium of the 2025 DTM Season

The fifth race weekend was held at the Nürburgring. Ricardo Feller was driving the only Audi R8 LMS in the field. Feller celebrated a hard-fought and well-deserved podium.

Racing NM Club Championship – Gjerdrum Racing Takes a Win and Two Podiums

18-year-old Emil Gjerdrum delivered a strong performance for Gjerdrum Racing. Competing in the mixed GT+, GT1, and GT3 class, he finished second in the first two races, just tenths of a second behind, before winning the third race with a commanding 13-second lead.

Audi RS 3 LMS TCR Highlights

Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie – Three Podiums for Audi RS 3 LMS

Goroyan Racing Team dominated the TCR category, winning by a full lap with drivers Danny Brink, Artur Goroyan, Oleg Kvitka, and Roman Mavlanov. Max Kruse Racing placed second in the AT3 class, finishing just 11.6 seconds behind a GT4 car. Meanwhile, Swiss duo Armando and Dario Stanco also claimed second place in the SP3T class with another Audi RS 3 LMS.

TCR China Challenge – A Win and a Podium

Liu Zichen won the first race of the fourth round of the TCR China Challenge at the Ordos circuit, narrowly beating Honda driver Sun Juran by 0.355 seconds in his 326 Racing Team Audi RS 3 LMS. In Race two, the positions were reversed after Liu Zichen was caught in first-corner traffic but recovered to finish second.
