Audi customer racing teams achieved sweeping success with seven titles in TCR Italy, including an overall victory for the Audi RS 3 LMS. Additional championships were earned with the Audi R8 LMS GT3 and GT4 models, showcasing the brand’s strength across multiple racing categories. Since 2009, Audi Sport customer racing has amassed 573 total titles, with 28 championship wins already secured in 2025 alone.

Audi RS 3 LMS (TCR) Highlights

TCR Italy – Seven Titles Claimed

The Audi RS 3 LMS dominated the 2025 TCR Italy season, claiming seven titles and proving unbeatable once again. Nicolas Taylor secured his second consecutive overall championship — the model’s third straight title — after a strong weekend at Misano, where his second-place finish in Race 1 sealed the deal. Taylor, driving for PMA Motorsport, also captured the team title and “Under 25” championship while teammate Nicola Baldan finished runner-up overall. Audi drivers swept multiple categories: Denis Babuin (Planet Motorsport) won the Master class, Sandro Pelatti (PMA Motorsport) took consistent podiums, and Carlo Alberto Bocca (BF Motorsport) claimed the Rookie title. In total, Audi’s customer teams showcased the RS 3 LMS’s unmatched consistency and performance across every classification.

TCR Italy DSG – More Titles and Podiums

Audi drivers wrapped up the TCR Italy DSG season at Misano with multiple titles and podiums. Gustavo Sandrucci (Casals Motorsport) won the second race and the Master classification, securing the Coppa Nazionale TCR Italy DSG Master title in his Audi RS 3 LMS. Andrea Palazzo (Aikoa Racing) finished third in Race 1, while teammate Sebastian Gavazza earned third in the “Under 25” category. In the women’s championship, Carlotta Fedeli (RC Motorsport) claimed the Trofeo Nazionale TCR Italy DSG Femminile title ahead of Seda Kaçan (Texaco Team AMS), capping off another strong weekend for Audi’s customer teams.

Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie – Two Class Wins

Audi customer teams dominated two classes in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) season finale. Goroyan RT by sharky-racing’s Audi RS 3 LMS (#777) driven by Danny Brink, Artur Goroyan, Oleg Kvitka, and Roman Mavlanov won the TCR class, finishing 1.52 minutes ahead of Møller Bil Motorsport’s Audi. The victory secured both the TCR class title in the 2025 KW Team Trophy and the NLS class winners trophy for Brink and Goroyan.

In the AT3 class, Max Kruse Racing claimed victory with drivers Timo Hochwind, Max Kruse, and Nico Otto, finishing two laps clear. The win also gave the team the 2025 KW Team Trophy AT3 title and the 2025 NLS class winners trophy for Hochwind. It marked former pro soccer player Max Kruse’s first NLS win in an Audi, completing a dominant weekend for Audi customer teams.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge – Second Place Overall

Audi wrapped up the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season as the second-best manufacturer overall. In the final race at Road Atlanta, Canadian drivers Sam Baker and James Vance secured a third-place finish for Team Baker Racing in their Audi RS 3 LMS. After ten rounds, Audi ranked behind Hyundai but ahead of Honda and Cupra in the final standings.

Belcar Endurance Championship – A Class Title and Second Overall

In the final round of the Belcar Endurance Championship at Zolder, Olivier Bertels and Nick van Pelt claimed their fourth class win of the season in the VP-Racing Audi RS 3 LMS. Their victory secured the SuperSport class title and second place overall in the championship. This achievement brings the total number of titles earned by both generations of the Audi RS 3 LMS to 161 worldwide since 2016, with additional podium finishes in German club racing further highlighting its success.

Cup- und Tourenwagen-Trophy – Multiple Podiums

At the sixth round of the Cup- und Tourenwagen-Trophy at the Nürburgring, Manfred Lewe secured second place in both class sprints, while Michael Haager claimed third in the first race, giving Audi multiple podium finishes.

TCR México – Second and Third After 24 Hours

In TCR México’s longest race of the season, the 24-hour event at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the Audi RS 3 LMS secured second and third place finishes. RE Motorsports 2 finished runner-up, just over a minute behind the winner, while Apycsa Racing Team claimed third.

Audi R8 LMS GT3 Highlights

ADAC GT Masters – Fourth Place Overall After Strong Performance

Scherer Sport PHX ended the 2025 ADAC GT Masters season on a high note, with Denis Bulatov and Nico Hantke securing a victory and a third-place finish at Hockenheim in their Audi R8 LMS. Their strong performance vaulted the duo from eighth to fourth in the final standings. In the first race, Bulatov moved from third on the grid to second before Hantke overtook front-runner Leo Pichler late in the race to take the win. Tire management on the drying track allowed Hantke to build a 5.9-second gap by the finish. In the second race, the pair finished third after Bulatov overtook Porsche driver Alexander Schwarzer near the end, capping a successful finale for the team.

DTM – Multiple Podiums in the Rain

Ricardo Feller and Land Motorsport ended the DTM season strong with the Audi R8 LMS, impressing 102,000 fans at Hockenheim. Qualifying fourth for the first race, Feller navigated a wet track while carrying 20 kg of success ballast, overtaking Ben Green and Jack Aitken to secure second place by just 0.11 seconds over Morris Schuring. Land Motorsport achieved three podiums in its debut season with a solo Audi R8 LMS entry, highlighting a competitive and successful campaign.

GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS – Class Victory and Multiple Podiums

Tresor Attempto Racing closed the GT World Challenge Europe season in Barcelona with a Silver Cup class win for Alex Aka, Leonardo Moncini, and Sebastian Øgaard in the Audi R8 LMS, finishing fifth overall. Their sister car claimed second in the Bronze Cup. The team ranked second among 20 teams in the combined Silver classification and third in the Endurance Cup Silver standings. Alex Aka was the top Audi driver, placing third in both the Silver drivers standings for the Endurance Cup and the combined sprint/endurance rankings.

Shanghai 8 Hours – Third Overall, Class Win and Multiple Podiums

At the Shanghai 8 Hours, the Audi R8 LMS secured third overall, a class win, and multiple podiums. Climax Racing with Li Dongsheng, Li Donghui, Lu Wei, and Zhou Liyuan finished third overall and won the GT3 amateur class. HZO Fortis Racing by Absolute Racing placed second in GT3 Silver-Am ahead of 326 Racing Team, while Uno Racing claimed second in Pro-Am with Sérgio Sette Câmara, David Pun, Wang Yibo, and Rio.

South Island Endurance Series – Third Place Finish and Second Overall

In the South Island Endurance Series’ second race in New Zealand, Team IMS claimed third place in the Audi R8 LMS with Sam Fillmore and Jonny Reid. Fillmore started from pole and led early in dry conditions, but rain after 40 minutes caused multiple off-track incidents and two race stoppages. Fillmore/Reid finished two laps down on the podium. Meanwhile, Steve Brooks and Bill Riding in Team Wolfbrook Racing’s R8 LMS sit second in the Audi customer standings despite finishing eighth after a spin.

Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie – Multiple Trophies

At the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie finale, Audi teams had a strong showing. Équipe Vitesse secured the SP9 Am KW Team Trophy, with Michael Heimrich, Arno Klasen, and Lorenzo Rocco finishing second in the final 4-hour race in their R8 LMS. In SP9 Pro-Am, Selv, Frank Stippler, and Alexey Veremenko also finished second, helping Juta Racing win both the NLS class winner trophy and KW Team Trophy. In the AT1 class, Dominik and Marcel Fugel claimed the 2025 NLS class winner trophy in their Max Kruse Racing Audi R8 LMS.

GT Cup Championship – Four Podiums

At the sixth British GT Cup round at Snetterton, PB Racing with JMH earned four podiums. Peter Erceg and Marcus Clutton finished third overall and second in GT3 in race one, and the team secured second-best results in both overall and class standings across the remaining three races in their Audi R8 LMS.

GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli – A Dramatic Victory

At the sixth GT2 European Series round in Barcelona, LP Racing’s Audi R8 LMS achieved a dramatic victory. Starting from tenth and last on the grid, Otto Blank advanced to fifth before handing over to Pierre Kaffer, who navigated turbulent overtakes, technical issues, and penalties to cross the finish line 7.8 seconds ahead, marking LP Racing’s first series win since September 2023 in Valencia.

Audi R8 LMS GT4 Highlights

GT4 European Series powered by Rafa Racing Club – Title Win

Team Speedcar capped off the GT4 European Series season in Barcelona by winning the Silver Cup team title with their Audi R8 LMS GT4. Drivers Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche, who had already secured the Silver drivers’ championship in August after four wins, finished sixth in both final races. This marks Audi’s sixth GT4 European Series title since 2018 and Team Speedcar’s first team championship in the series.

GT4 France – Double Podium

Saintéloc Racing closed the 2025 GT4 France season with two podiums at Le Castellet. Lucas Légeret and Sébastien Rambaud drove the team’s Audi R8 LMS GT4 to two third-place finishes, with the second podium aided by penalties applied to a Mercedes-AMG for track limit violations.

South African Endurance Series – Class Win

G&H Racing’s Audi R8 LMS GT4 won Class B and finished fourth overall at the fifth round of the South African Endurance Series at Zwartkops.

Ultimate Cup Series – Three Trophies Earned

Herrero Racing claimed three trophies at the fifth round of the French Ultimate Cup Series, with Pierre Arraou finishing second in the first UCS4 race, winning his class in the second, and placing second in the third sprint driving the Audi R8 LMS GT4.
