New Q9 and Redesigned Q7 to Arrive in 2026
News from Edmunds reports that Audi has officially announced that a fully redesigned Q7 SUV will arrive in late 2026, alongside an all-new, larger Q9 model, marking a major expansion of the brand’s SUV lineup.
The next-generation Q7 will feature refreshed styling, revised 2.0L and 3.0L engine options, and an updated 4.0L V8 for the SQ7. A plug-in hybrid variant is also expected, potentially paving the way for a similar offering in the Q9.
While full details of the Q9 remain under wraps, it’s expected to be Audi’s largest SUV yet, set to rival the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS. Both models are anticipated to adopt the sleek new design language seen on the latest Q5 and share tech and powertrain elements with Porsche and Bentley counterparts.
