What a terrific morning with two-dozen plus Audi owners and cars on hand at the Cobra Experience in Martinez. The first Cars, Kids and Coffee of the season took place on Sunday, March 20th. The informal event is held once a month and is open to the public and all car marques.
For those who visited the museum post the mixer, two extra special cars were on display; two of the three original GT 40’s that crossed the finish line together at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, which were on loan to the museum for a limited time. The Ford history making cars were amazing to see!
Thanks to everyone who participated with a special thank you to the BAR8 group, the parade of Audi R8s entering the complex was so cool! The chapter plans on returning to the Cobra Experience on Sunday, September 1st.
