Find of the Day: A One of 10 Audi R8 V10 Plus Competition Package the Owner Forgot to Drive

Audi has built plenty of special R8 models over the years, but this one is on an entirely different level. Offered by Bring a Trailer right now is an incredibly rare 2018 Audi R8 V10 Plus Competition Package coupe showing just 43 original miles. That mileage is not a typo. This car is essentially brand new and is one of only 10 examples equipped from the factory with the ultra-exclusive Competition Package.

Finished in Suzuka Gray Metallic over a black Nappa leather interior with Express Red stitching, this R8 looks every bit as aggressive as its specs suggest. The Competition Package transformed the already ferocious V10 Plus into something even more track-focused thanks to a full carbon-fiber aero kit that added a larger front spoiler, dive planes, extended side sills, rear diffuser, and a fixed rear wing. Audi also fitted the car with three-way adjustable coilover suspension and lightweight 20-inch Audi Sport milled-cut wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.

Supercar Performance

Under the rear glass sits Audi’s glorious naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 producing 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission and Audi’s legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Even by modern supercar standards, the performance remains outrageous. These cars are capable of launching to 60 mph in roughly three seconds while delivering one of the best engine sounds ever fitted to a road car.

The cabin strikes a balance between luxury and motorsport. Heated power-adjustable seats, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, Audi Virtual Cockpit, navigation, automatic climate control, and carbon-fiber trim remind you this is still an Audi flagship. At the same time, the Alcantara-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel and carbon-fiber shift paddles reinforce the car’s serious intentions.

Pampered History

Originally delivered to Audi Grapevine in Texas, the car has reportedly remained in the state since new before heading to Arizona for sale. Recent service included an oil change, coolant flush, spark plugs, and a brake fluid flush in April 2026.

Perhaps the most shocking detail is the original window sticker price: $239,900. That made this one of the most expensive R8s Audi ever sold at the time. Today, with naturally aspirated supercars rapidly disappearing, ultra-low-mileage examples like this are becoming blue-chip collectibles for Audi enthusiasts. Bidding ends Tuesday, May 26.
