Find of the Day: 2010 Audi R8 LMS V10 Road Car
The idea is as old as there’ve been auto enthusiasts watching races and dreaming of driving a racing car in their day-to-day. That’s probably one of the reasons series like GT racing and touring car resonate with fans, not because they’re the fastest cars in competition but because the cars look interchangeable with cars we can actually own. In this case, the car is an Audi R8 and the dream is to have one built to GT3 spec. Well, apparently that dream’s been realized, and you can now buy it built.
The car you see here is a 2010 R8 V10 Coupé built fairly exactingly to R8 LMS GT3 specification. It’s an R tronic, that normally wouldn’t be preferable but just sort of fits the car’s racing nature. Check out the full link HERE and we’ll also post the full description below.

Full (Audi) carbon fiber wide body LMS re-body
This car was built with no corners cut. It’s a VIN-ed Street car that was mostly converted using Audi Factory LMS parts. The odometer shows 15,500 miles. It’s never seen competitive racing but has been on VIR twice for private events.
This car is a monster, weighing in at under 3000 lbs and pushing 600hp. It has a few hundred hours of labor and close to $200,000 in upgrades.
