Find of the Day: 1985 Audi Sport Quattro SWB - A Copenhagen Blue Unicorn

Close your eyes. Now imagine finding an original 1985 Audi Sport Quattro SWB in “like-new” time warp condition. And while you are dreaming, you may as well picture it finished in rare Copenhagen Blue with grey leather. That is this car. We featured this exact car as our ‘Find of the Day’ a couple of years ago. And now it is being offered for sale again by CopleyWest.

This rally legend has covered just 12,400 km (around 7,800 miles) in 40 years. It was last sold in 2023 and that buyer only put about 300 miles on it. It’s one of just 214 homologated for Group B, and among them only 21 were painted Copenhagen Blue. The car features the timeless inline-5 turbo, 5-speed transmission, locking diffs, and of course quattro all-wheel drive. It is a visceral throwback and centerpiece for any serious collection.
