e-tron GT & RS e-tron GT Spied Testing

With its J1 platform-mate Porsche Taycan now having just released a mid-lifecycle freshening, it’s only natural that the same sort of updating is now due for the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. Not suprisingly then, our spy photographers are seeing test mules of these cars more and more. This week, an e-tron GT was caught doing cold weather testing in Sweden while an RS e-tron GT popped up in Germany.

Most notable on the e-tron GT is the change to the nose where it looks like the bumper gets a significantly different new “smile” with perhaps a slightly changed singleframe grille. Changes at the rear are a bit more subtle, but notably different on the diffusor.

Changes are similar for the RS e-tron GT.

Updated lights for both models are expected, though not on display on these mules.

Beyond the visual changes, technical upgrades as seen in the Taycan facelift are also likely. Check out more on those updates HERE.

Speaking of the Taycan, it’s been known that Porsche is also testing a high-performance version. Could Audi do the same for its e-tron GT? If they do, we’re curious what they’ll call it because the hottest already utilizes the “RS” and “GT” nomenclature.
