Spy Photo: Porsche Taycan Turbo GT

We knew for a while that Porsche is working on a hotter version of the Taycan Turbo with first spotting done by CarPix last year. And that model, that we like to call Turbo GT even if its not confirmed by Porsche, was spotted again around the Nürburgring. This time the prototype had no camouflage at all , except for a little sticker hiding the name at the back.

The fact of the “no camo” gives us a better look at the new designed headlights, rear lights and the front and rear bumper designs. And of course the wing, hard to miss that one.
But we can also see that the charger port on the left side has been dropped, maybe in an attempt to drop some weight for the otherwise rather heavy car. Most likely Porsche has used some other tricks in order to save weight and to let those expected 1000 + horsepower get an easier job.

The fact that its not wearing any camouflage now could actually mean that the debut is closer than we first expected. Its just little over a week until it’s time for the Rennsport Reunion 7 at Laguna Seca and maybe Porsche will make the debut there . After all , Porsche has announced they will show a surprise there. A global premiere will take place at Rennsport this time.
