Greetings fellow Audi enthusiasts! Do you find yourself searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites looking for a specific model? While it can be fun, it does consume valuable time. So let us do some of the work for you. Auction Watch monitors online auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Each Thursday we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights, and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
While there aren’t any uber-luxury-level cars in this week’s listings like you may have seen in the various Monterey Car Week area auctions, there are a couple of older inline-five equipped cars to consider. A coupe and a sedan, both are pretty highly-modified too. The rest of the many listings are almost all low-mileage cars from just about every style of car Audi offers to choose from, including a pair of low-mileage R8 Spyders. 1986 Audi Coupe GT (223,000** Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM! No Reserve. The original engine was swapped for a modified, N/A 2.3L 20-valve 7A I5, hence the **, total engine mileage unknown. Please read the listing for all the engine mods. Only the front wheels are driven via a 5-speed manual. White 16″ Sparco Terra wheels are mounted with a stud conversion and wear 205/45 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires with 2013 date codes. The exterior is Alpine White with Audi Sport decals; inside the black cabin are red Commemorative Design seats and door panels reupholstered in 2022. No accidents or damage in the Carfax report but the car shows its age.
2017 Audi S6 (46,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM! Gorgeous Misano Red pearl with a Black Optic package is over a black interior featuring diamond-stitched leather seats, (the listing states) Achat Gray Fine Grain Birch (but it sure looks like Carbon Atlas) inlays, and Bose surround sound. The factory rated the twin-turbo 4.0L V8 at 450HP/406 lb-ft and it connects to a 7-speed S tronic. The seller states a transferable extended warranty is available to the next owner. Carfax reports very minor damage in December 2022, the trunk lid and rear bumper were refinished as a result.
2022 Audi A6 Allroad (24,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early this PM! A lot of Mythos Black metallic paint, complimented by a Black optic package and tinted windows, covers this long roof. Inside the roomy black interior are leather seats, B&O 3D premium sound, and dark brown walnut natural wood inlays. It’s powered by a 3.0L turbocharged V6, Audi rated at 335HP/369 lb-ft of torque, that spins a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2001 Audi TT Roadster 225 (24,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends late this PM! No Reserve. The color is Nimbus Gray pearl with a black soft top and it’s over a black cabin with Ebony leather seats, Bose sound, an inoperative cruise control, and pixels out on the instrument cluster center display. The turbocharged 1.8L I4 (225HP/207 lb-ft) mates to a 6-speed manual. The seller notes an intermittent airbag warning light but the Carfax report is clean.
2001 Audi S8 (29,000 Miles)

This flagship is finished in Cashmere Gray pearl over a two-tone Ecru/gray interior featuring Ecru Valcona leather seats, gray Birdseye maple wood trim, an Audio II Symphony CD/cassette stereo, a GROM Bluetooth adapter, and Bose sound. The 4.2L V8, factory rated at 360HP/317 lb-ft had its timing belt, timing belt tensioner, serpentine belt, water pump, and crankshaft seal replaced in October 2022. It mates to a 5-speed Tiptronic also serviced in October 2022. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2009 Audi S5 Coupe (39,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Finished in Brilliant Black outside, the coupe has a black interior featuring Tuscan Brown Silk Nappa leather seats and door panels, stainless steel textured inlays, B&O sound, and Audi navigation and Technology packages. A 4.2L V8 (354HP/325 lb-ft) sends its power to a 6-speed manual. A set of 19″ wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tires with 2020 date codes and protective covers accompany the car. Carfax reports no accidents/damage but it’s time to replace the 2014 date code tires.
1993 Audi S4 (157,000** Miles)

Another highly-modified 2.2L I5 here. Please read the listing for the extensive mods throughout this sedan. The exterior Brilliant Black paint is said to date from 2016. The black interior has Anthracite leather seats, carbon fiber trim, an AutoMeter boost gauge is fitted on the left A-pillar, and gauges for oil temperature and oil pressure atop the center stack. Removed and spare parts accompany the car along with manufacturer’s literature, a tool roll, and service records dating to 2017. There’s no explanation for why the Carfax report states the car is “Exempt from odometer reporting” in July 2005, hence the ** on the mileage.
2008 Audi RS 4 (29,000 Miles)

The window sticker says the color is “Special build papaya orange”. The OEM drivetrain is a 4.2L V8 (rated 420HP/317 lb-ft) mated to a 6-speed manual and this one now exhales through a Milltek Sport cat-back exhaust. The chassis rolls on STaSIS Motorsports suspension components. Inside the black cabin are black Nappa leather seats with contrasting (papaya?) piping and stitching with debossed RS4 logos, Piano Black trim and Bose sound. Carfax reports “structural damage airbag deployed” to the left front in November 2012. The seller states the bumper covers and left headlight assembly were replaced and the left-rear quarter panel was repaired to address the damage. (Please excuse the error in the picture’s captions, this is a 2008 MY car.)
2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet (13,000 Miles)

One owner and low mileage! By this model year the engine had changed to a 3.0L supercharged V6 Audi rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft and the gearbox in this car is a 7-speed S tronic. The color on this example is Brilliant Red with a black soft top over a black interior with black/Tuscan Brown Nappa leather seats, Gray Birch wood trim, and B&O sound. The Carfax report is clean but only the two front tires are said to be replaced for the sale.
1999 Audi A4 Avant (156,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A bit more power than the factory 150HP/155 lb-ft numbers may be coming from the 1.8L I4 thanks to 034Motorsport breather hoses and Techtonics Tuning downpipe and exhaust. Operating the 5-speed manual may be more fun thanks to a JH Motorsports short shifter. Please see the listing for many more chassis and appearance mods. The November 2021 repainted silver exterior (with creative badging) is over a black cabin with leather/Nogaro Blue Alcantara Recaro seats and door panels. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2015 Audi R8 V8 Spyder (12,000 Miles)

Another low-mileage Spyder and this one has a 7-speed S tronic mated to its 4.2L V8 (430HP/317 lb-ft) so talk about fun to drive! It is Daytona Gray pearl (ppf covered) with a black soft top and optional Laser Red painted calipers outside. Inside, the black interior features the optional Diamond Stitched Full Leather Package with silver contrast stitching, Carbon Sigma trim, B&O sound, Audi Parking System Plus with a rearview camera, and an Audi MMI touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. A new high-performance lifetime battery was installed in May 2023. A clean Carfax report too.
2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (10,000 Miles)

Yet another low-mileage 2012 Spyder on Auction Watch. The 5.2L V10, Audi rated at 525HP/391 lb-ft, sends its power to a 6-speed R tronic. The photos probably don’t do the Ibis White paint justice, but there are still shots of the black soft top lowering. The black interior has leather seats, carbon fiber trim, Audi Parking System Plus with rearview camera, and an Audi MMI touchscreen infotainment system with navigation. Carfax reports no accidents or damage, that the last oil change may have been November 2015, and it probably still rides on the original tires too.
2007 Audi RS 4 (110,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This fast sedan wears Avus Silver pearl over its black interior with Nappa leather seats, carbon-fiber trim, and other Premium Package niceties. Power is supplied by a 4.2L V8, factory rated 420HP/317 lb-ft, which spins a 6-speed manual. Mods include a JH Motorsports cat-back exhaust, Bilstein PSS9 coilovers replace the DRC, a Black Forest Industries shift knob, and 034Motorsport control arms and tie rods. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the front hood gap seems a bit large.
2007 Audi RS 4 (53,000 Miles)

Attention Western Canada Chapter folks, this Avus Silver pearl over black US-spec car is in your area. The only mod to the OEM drivetrain is removal of the intake flap (included in the sale) from the 4.2L V8. Ascetic mods include powder coating the OEM wheels in Cadillac Gray and adding XPEL Ultimate Plus on front bumper, headlights, fog lights, hood, fenders, A-pillar, leading edge of roof, door cups and edges, fender flares, and rear trunk opening. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the front tires have 2016 date codes on them.

One owner! This generation S6 is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 Audi rated at 420hp/406 lb-ft and it connects to a 7-speed S tronic. Please read the listing’s Recent Service History for the work done over the last 4 years, and also the Known Flaws for the explanation of the damage listed in the Carfax report. It is painted Havana Black metallic over a black interior with Comfort Seating and Cold Weather Packages and Bose Surround sound. (Please excuse the error in the picture’s captions, this is a 2015 MY car.)
2014 Audi A5 Coupe (106,000 Miles)

This stealthy, debadged coupe is finished in Phantom Black pearl with Black Optics/rings and tinted windows over a black interior featuring leather Sport seats, textured stainless inlays, and B&O sound. The engine is a 2.0L I4 (220HP/258 lb-ft) and that kooks up to a 6-speed manual. The ride benefits from a Sport package and four Ultra wheels cone with the sale. Carfax reports minor left front damage in February 2015.
