Auction Watch monitors auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Here in weekly Auction Watch, we post a short report with key data, a few pictures, and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
This week’s auction listings start with a darker shade of green than last week, called Highland Green, and it’s on another long roof. It is the only short-fused auction, ending late this afternoon (27th). The rest of this week’s listings have either two or four doors, which reminds me of a joke. Bid quickly, auction ends late this PM! No Reserve. This long roof is finished in Highland Green with body-colored wheel arches and that’s over a two-tone cabin with Sable and Platinum leather seats and door cards, wood trim, and a white headliner. The 4.2L V8 is factory rated at 300HP/280 lb-ft and it had its timing chains, guides, and tensioners replaced in February 2018 along with the water pump, thermostat, power steering pump, and front snub mount. It spins a 5-speed Tiptronic. The Carfax report is clean and has an impressive service history.
2016 Audi S6 (68,000 Miles)

A Prestige level trim model with S6 Sport and Comfort Seating packages. Tornado Gray metallic with a Black optic package covers the exterior while the black interior has Valcona leather seats and Layered Aluminum/Black Wood inlays. Drivetrain: a 4.0-L twin-turbo V8 (450HP/406 lb-ft) coupled to a 7-speed S tronic. A full mechanical Securenet drivetrain warranty, valid through August 21, 2024, will transfer to the new owner. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in May 2016.

That’s Phantom Black pearl outside over a black cabin with leather/Alcantara seats, brushed aluminum trim, and B&O sound. An RS-style grille and tinted windows complete the look. 2002 Audi TT ALMS Commemorative Edition (81,000 Miles)

This coupe is 1 of 1,000 ALMS Commemorative Editions built to pay tribute to Audi’s American Le Mans Series successes in 2000 and 2001. 500 of these cars are finished in this Avus Silver pearl, all are over Brilliant Red leather seats, steering wheel, door panels, shift knob and power trim. They’re powered by a 1.8L turbocharged I4 (225HP/207 lb-ft) paired with a 6-speed manual. Please read the listing for the service done since 2020. This one has a clean Carfax report.

That mileage is no typo, this is a nice garage find. The color is Deep Sea Blue pearl and it’s over a mostly Light Gray interior with leather seats and optional Walnut trim. Power unit is a turbocharged 2.0L I4, factory rated at 211HP/258 lb-ft, mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic. No accidents or damage are reported by Carfax.

Under glass is a 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) and, if you win the bid, the shifter for a gated 6-speed manual transaxle could be in your right hand. Painted Ibis White, the black cabin has leather/Alcantara seats, Audi Parking System Plus (with rearview camera) and B&O sound. Mods: a Rev9Power titanium exhaust, H&R springs, 20″ Blaque Diamond wheels, Maxton Design carbon fiber rear wing and ground effects, carbon-look vinyl wrap over body-color sideblades, and tinted windows. It has a clean Carfax report too.
2021 Audi TT RS (8,000 Miles)

Listed as just white, it has black rings/badges over a black cabin nicely contrasted by a red RS Design Select package. The 2.5L I5 power output is enhanced with these mods: Unitronic Stage 1 and DSG (7-speed S tronic) tunes, AWE Track catback exhaust, STM mid pipes, and an Eventuri carbon fiber intake. A Unitronic handheld tuner is included in the sale along with removed stock intake components. No accidents or damage are reported by Carfax.
2015 Audi A8 L (33,000 Miles)

The drivetrain is a supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Outside it’s Moonlight Blue metallic, inside the black interior are Nougat Brown leather seats (heated/ventilated/massage), wood trim, Bose Surround sound, and a white headliner. The Carfax report lists no accidents or damage and a good service history.
2001 Audi S4 Avant (115,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A popular Audi color combo in this time frame, Light Silver metallic over an Onyx interior, and this one has Silk Nappa leather seats, Bose sound and a Jensen head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Its 2.7L turbocharged V6 runs a GIAC Stage 1 ECU tune and sends that enhanced power to a 6-speed manual. The chassis rides on recently installed Bilstein B12 suspension kit. The Carfax report is clean but the car is showing its age and the 2016 tires are due for replacement.
2022 Audi RS 3 (7,000 Miles)

Essentially a new car here. Per the window sticker the only items over base are the Mythos Black metallic paint, side assist, and all-weather floor mats. But you still get the glorious 2.5L I5 (401HP/369 lb-ft) mated to a 7-speed S tronic and the trick new RS torque splitter diff. The interior is black with Nappa leather seats. The Carfax report is clean.
