Guten Tag Audi enthusiasts! Searching through the internet’s multiple car auction sites for a specific model, while fun, can take up your valuable time. So let us do some of the daily grind for you. Auction Watch monitors auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Here in weekly Auction Watch, we post a short report with key data, a few pictures, and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
It’s a bit of light week for car listings with only nine on the usual on-line auction sites. So for something different I checked auctions on eBay Motors and there were 56 Audi listings, 52 with clean titles. Twenty-four cars were 2017 or newer, and of those, most if not all were at dealers. Then I cross-checked an R8 GT thinking it would also be found by looking at CarGurus but it wasn’t. So what’s the moral of the story? If you’re looking for a specific model, it’s probably worth looking at eBay Motors with one caveat. A few dealer listings noted they reserve the right to end the auction early, meaning the car is also listed at the dealership and may be sold independent of the auction process. 2021 Audi RS 7 (14,000 Miles)

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8, (591/590 lb-ft) mates to an 8-speed Tiptronic in this well-equipped (Executive, Drivers Assistance, and Black Optic packages) sportback. Outside it is popular Nardo Gray and inside you’ll find Valcona leather seats with red stitching and Carbon Twill inlays. The only mods are tinted windows and paint protection film on the front end. A Lemon Squad Inspection report is included in the listing and Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2011 Audi S4 (123,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A sleeper here: OEM on the outside (with the exception of an RS-style grill) but under the hood the 3.0L supercharged V6 now runs a GIAC Stage 1 ECU tune and Stage 2 transmission tune, an aftermarket cold air intake, an upgraded supercharger heat exchanger. Please see the listing for more mods. A Prestige trim level car, it has the optional Sport diff and leather/Alcantara seats. There are flaws so look at the pictures and read the listing carefully, but it has a clean Carfax.
2002 Audi TT Roadster 225 (63,000 Miles)

This droptop is finished in Moro Blue pearl and has a replacement power Haartz blue soft top that was fitted in 2015. The interior features Baseball Optic package (Amber Red leather with cool stitching) and aluminum trim. The turbocharged 1.8L I4, factory rated at 225HP/207 lb-ft, sends its power to a 6-speed manual. It also had its timing belt replaced and a silicone breather hose kit installed in 2017. A common problem exists, some pixels in the central digital display no longer illuminate, and Carfax reports minor damage to the front in October 2019.
2001 Audi S4 (90,000 Miles)

The B5 generation S4 is motivated by a 2.7L twin-turbo V6, rated at 250HP/258 lb-ft when new, and this one had a new water pump, timing belt, O2 sensor, and intake manifold gaskets installed at 71K miles; it’s mated to a 5-speed Tiptronic. That color is Santorin Blue pearl and it’s over a black interior with Onyx Silk Nappa leather seats and Birdseye maple wood trim. The Carfax report is clean but a paint a blend mark is visible on the car’s rear where it’s said the original owner misjudged a garage door closing.
2007 Audi RS 4 (74,000 Miles)

The 4.2L V8, Audi factory rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft, sends that power to a 6-speed manual as with all RS 4. Service in March 2022 included intake carbon cleaning, removing the intake flaps, and replacing the oil separator, coolant reservoir, fuel injectors, and spark plugs. Please read the listing for additional service done to the body and chassis. Under an Ibis White exterior, the standard interior has silver-piped black leather Recaro front seats, carbon fiber trim; an aftermarket head unit with an integrated rearview camera is added. Carfax reports minor damage to the front in October 2015.
2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet (11,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This one owner, low mileage droptop is finished in Ice Silver metallic with a black top over Spectral Silver Alcantara/black Silk Nappa leather seats in a black cabin with aluminum trim and B&O sound. The supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) connects to a 7-speed S tronic and the optional sports diff. The tires may be a bit dated but the Carfax report is clean.
2011 Audi A5 Coupe (34,000 Miles)

One owner, low-ish mileage, but also nil service history. The exterior is Brilliant Black and that’s over a black cabin with black leather seats, wood trim, and a white headliner. The 2.0L turbocharged I4 (211HP/258 lb-ft) spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but also only two service entries (plus an intake manifold replacement) and the tires are original—2010 date codes.
2012 Audi R8 V8 Coupe (36,000 Miles)

A Canadian-spec car imported to the US in 2021. Suzuka Gray metallic is a great color on an R8 and this one’s over a black, driver-focused cabin with red leather seats and three pedals and a 6-speed manual. The 4.2L V8 is factory rated at 430HP/316 lb-ft. Mods highlights are a Larini Systems exhaust, Air Lift Company 3P air suspension (includes Airtekk bags), RS-style grille, and Maxton Design front splitter and side skirts. A clean Carfax report but, again, the 2014/15 date code tires should be replaced.
2014 Audi A6 TDI (110,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The power plant is a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 (240HP/428 lb-ft), the transmission is an 8-speed Tiptronic, and the color is Daytona Gray pearl. The black interior has heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, and Bose surround sound. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the tires are probably ready for replacement.
