Auction Watch monitors auction sites for Audi models worthy of your bids. Here in weekly in Auction Watch, we post a short report with key data, a few pictures, and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi you’re looking for in time to bid on it.
There’s a wide variety of cars in this week’s auction listings from a limited edition model (a Panther Edition RS 5) to uncommon paint colors (an Imola Yellow TT Coupe 3.2 and a Daytona Gray matte RS 7) to well-cared for coupes (an S5 and a TT) down to more well-used but affordable daily driver candidates. 2007 Audi RS 4 (58,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early PM! A nice looking example of a fast sedan in Avus Silver pearl over a black interior featuring Nappa leather seats and carbon fiber trim. The OEM drivetrain (4.2L V8 factory rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft and 6-speed manual) is unmodified, only wheel spacers and B5 RS4 strut caps have been added to the running gear. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but technician’s note from May 2022 recommends upper control arm replacement, the tires are 2012 date-coded and the headliner is sagging.
2008 Audi A8 L (36,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends early evening! No Reserve. It may look black but that’s Oyster Gray metallic over contrasting Amaretto leather seats, headliner and door panel inserts with Vavona wood trim. The 4.2L V8 was rated at 350 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque when new and it spins a 6-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports an accident in January 2010 but no further details.
2005 Audi A8 L W12 (86,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A second time for this D3 generation limo on cars & bids—last May it bid to $17,500. Equipped with the big engine: a 6.0L W12 that’s factory rated at 450HP/428 lb-ft and connected to a 6-speed Tiptronic. The exterior is Atlas Gray metallic but the star of the show is the full leather black interior with contrasting Amaretto leather seats, door panels, and Alcantara headliner; wood steering wheel, shift lever and trim. It has upgraded MMI software too. No accidents or damaged reported by Carfax but the 2012 and 2014 tires need replacing.
2012 Audi S5 Cabriolet (45,000 Miles)

A low-ish mileage droptop that’s powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 (333HP/325 lb-ft) mated to a 7-speed S tronic with a sport diff completing the drivetrain. Monsoon Gray with a black soft top outside and black inside with Nappa leather seats, B&O sound, and carbon atlas trim. The seller states paintless dent repairs were done, damage on the front bumper’s right side was repaired and painted as well as damage on the right headlight assembly and scratches on the right side. All this without Carfax reporting any accidents or damage. (Please excuse the “2015” typo in the picture captions, I’ve had a busy day.)
2008 Audi A4 Avant (139,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This long roof is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L I4 factory rated at 200HP/207 lb-ft spinning a 6-speed manual. Ibis White covers the exterior and the black cabin has leather seats and Bose sound. The discoloration noted on the white headliner is probably why the sunroof drain hose was replaced in March 2023. Please read the listing for more work done in the past three years. A clean Carfax report.
2001 Audi TT Roadster 225 (72,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A triple black Mark I: Brilliant Black paint, black power soft top and black cabin with Ebony leather seats. The turbocharged 1.8L I4 is factory rated at 225HP/207 lb-ft and it spins a 6-speed manual and a Haldex-based all-wheel-drive system that was serviced in April 2023. A common problem, central digital display missing pixels, was repaired by the seller. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but there’s an 8-year gap between owners 5 and 6.
2014 Audi S5 Coupe (113,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A completely stock example of a beautiful coupe here, but I may be a bit prejudice as I own one. The engine is a 3.0L supercharged V6, factory rated at 333HP/325 lb-ft, and this one connects to a 6-speed manual. Outside it’s Monsoon Gray metallic with a Black Optic package. Inside the black cabin are optional Fine Nappa leather seats, B&O sound, and a MMI Navigation plus package. Please read the listing for recent engine service; it also has four new tires. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2001 Audi S4 (90,000 Miles)

No Reserve. It’s painted Santorin Blue Pearl Effect over Onyx Silk Nappa leather while light Birdseye maple wood trim accents the cabin. Power is provided by a twin-turbo 2.7L V6 (250HP/258 lb-ft) mated to a 5-speed Tiptronic. The rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads were replaced in May 2023. The seller states the washer fluid hose to the reservoir leaks, and there are a few paint flaws, but the Carfax report is clean.
2018 Audi RS 7 (35,000 Miles)

A Daytona Gray matte paint job, not XPEL Stealth film, covers this sportback. Under the hood is a factory rated 560HP/516 lb-ft twin-turbo 4.0L V8 spinning an 8-speed Tiptronic. Options beyond the paint are Carbon Optic and Drivers Assistant packages and red brake calipers. The voluminous black interior sports Valcona leather seats with contracting stitching, carbon fiber trim, Bose surround sound, and a head-up display. Tinted windows and a clean Carfax report round out the package.
2004 Audi TT Coupe 3.2 (62,000 Miles)

Only two owners. You just can’t miss an Imola Yellow TT and this one’s made even better by the 3.2L VR6 engine (247HP/236 lb-ft) under the bonnet that’s paired with a 6-speed DSG. It’s also an S-line trim level car with a black/gray cabin and (Aviator?) gray Nappa leather seats and Audi Concert CD stereo with Bose audio. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2019 Audi RS 5 Sportback Panther Edition (12,000 Miles)

One of 75 Panther Edition Sportbacks produced for the US market, so called for the Panther Black crystal effect paint (it has a purple hue) with a matte aluminum-optic grille surround, window trim, splitter and diffuser blades, and mirror housings. Inside you’ll find black Fine Nappa leather seats with Crescendo Red stitching; please see the car’s window sticker in the last picture for details on the Panther edition equipment. The twin-turbo 2.9L V6 is factory rated at 444HP/443 lb-ft and mates to an 8-Speed Tiptronic. A clean Carfax too.
2014 Audi RS 5 Coupe (39,000 Miles)

Low mileage. A Nardo Gray vinyl wrap covers the OEM Daytona Gray pearl paint (see pictured door jamb) and that’s over a black cabin with leather seats, carbon fiber trim and B&O sound. The N/A 4.2L V8 (450HP/317 lb-ft) inhales through a K&N air filter and exhales through a sport exhaust with an aftermarket X-pipe sans resonators so it may make a tad more power. A 7-speed S tronic and sport diff complete the drivetrain. H&R lowering springs and a Canyon Run front strut tower brace are also installed. Carfax reports no accidents or damage. 2018 Audi A4 Allroad (78,000 Miles)

This Prestige trim level long roof is Glacier White metallic (full paint=no black cladding) over a Rock Gray leather interior with Cold and Warm Weather packages and Natural Gray Oak wood inlays. Motivation comes from a 2.0L I4, Audi rated at 252HP/273 lb-ft, and that power flows to a 7-speed S tronic. A good recent service history and clean Carfax report too.
2001 Audi TT Roadster 225 (35,000 Miles)

No Reserve. A turbocharged 1.8L I4 (225HP/207 lb-ft) connected to a 6-speed manual propels this gem. The color is Nimbus Gray pearl with a power black soft top over the optional Amber Red Baseball Optic and Audio packages. It looks like the long-term original owner took care of the car but a common problem, inoperative pixels in the digital display, is present. The Carfax report is clean though.
2019 Audi RS 3 (43,000 Miles)

Ara Blue Crystal Effect with Black Optics is a great look on this car. It’s over a black interior with a Technology package, red RS Design Selection Interior, and carbon fiber inlays. The chassis has a Dynamic package to help the 2.5L I5 put its 394HP/354 lb-ft of torque down to the ground through a 7-speed S tronic. The only mods are a 034Motorsport billet aluminum DSG breather catch can and tinted windows. The Carfax report is clean but only one reported service concerns me.
