Hello again Audi aficionados! Thank you for clicking on another edition of Auction Watch where we’ve done the internet searching for you. We’ve checked multiple car auction sites looking for Audi models worthy of your bids. Typically each Thursday, but today on Friday due to business and social obligations that complicated this week’s schedule, we post those listings calling out a car’s highlights and include a few pictures and a link to the listing. Our goal is to help you find the Audi that you’re looking for in time for you to bid on it.
Sorry about the extra day’s wait for this week’s auction listings. Here’s the question of the week: is an 8T generation RS 5 Coupe with only 240 miles a collectable car? According to an AudiWorld post, out of the 1,239 RS 5 Coupes made in MY 2014 for the US market, 319 were Daytona Gray like the example below. So it’s certainly not rare, but this one does have a Lunar Silver leather interior which may make it somewhat more unique. So what should the winning bidder do: park it or drive it? I’d buy a second set of wheels and drive it, sparingly, on them.
Either low or high mileage seems to be this week’s listing theme along with opposite ends of the spectrum, as in, A models or Audi Sport models. There are nine A or base models, albeit well-equipped in a few cases and built to Stage 3 in one case, as opposed to eight R/RS models. The elder statesman this week is a 1985 Ur quattro, scroll through all the listing’s photo gallery for good pictures of the car’s exterior. In the continuing saga of the low-mileage 2011 R8 V10 Coupe with its R tronic converted to manual operation, it’s now listed on Pcarmarket just below. Bring a Trailer – 2006 A8 L. No Reserve. In early October 2024 it bid to $11k but the winner failed to follow through with the buy of a 65k-mile, Quartz Gray over gray, clean Carfax car. Auction ends mid-PM today!
Pcarmarket – 2011 R8 V10 Coupe. After purchasing BaT for $90.5k (1/11/2025) this 9k-mile, Brilliant Red over Luxor Beige Type 42 was converted to manual operation and relisted on BaT. It bid to $95k on 2/23/2025 but failed to sell. Now it’s relisted on Pcarmarket with an auction that ends 03.03.2025 at 2:30 PM EST.
2000 Audi TT Coupe 180 (31,000 Miles)

Bid quickly, auction ends late PM today! This Lake Silver metallic Mark I sold on BaT on November 18, 2021, for $22k just four months before the COVID market peak. It sold about $9k over the average TT price at that time. It has a very nice Denim Blue interior with Valcona leather seats, an instrument cluster replacement in May 2006, and an Audi Concert cassette stereo with Bose sound. The 1.8L I4 (180HP/173 lb-ft) had its timing belt replaced in December 2021 (per Carfax report) and spins a 5-speed manual. Carfax reports only two owners and no accidents or damage. Ask about the age of the tires, one appears (picture 42) to have a 2021 date code.
2011 Audi A6 (46,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This Prestige trim-level, west coast import to NY is listed as gray, probably Quartz Gray metallic, over a beige interior with Nappa leather seats, wood trim, Audi MMI navigation with voice control, and a CD stereo with Bose sound. The supercharged 3.0L V6 in this MY was factory rated at 300HP/310 lb-ft and pairs with a 6-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear and right rear in August 2018 but no further details.
2003 Audi RS 6 (117,000 Miles)

No Reserve. We haven’t had an RS 6 in Auction Watch for some time and this example appears to have mismatched paint on the rear bumper cover possibly from an accident that Carfax reports minor damage to the right rear from an accident involving front or side impact with another motor vehicle in November 2019. The color should be Avus Silver pearl. The black interior has leather seats with contrasting piping, carbon fiber trim, a Warm Weather package, and an Audi Symphony AM/FM/CD/cassette radio with Bose sound. The 4.2L twin-turbo V8 (450HP/415 lb-ft) now wears Wagner Tuning intercoolers but doesn’t wear its front engine cover. Other mods include SHW Performance brake rotors and tinted windows. Tires have 2015 date codes and there are more flaws noted in the listing.
2007 Audi RS 4 (129,000 Miles)

No Reserve. The 4.2L V8 (420HP/317 lb-ft) in this Phantom Black pearl fast sedan has had a lot of service in the past few years. Please read the listing and look at the receipts in the listing’s pictures for details. An aftermarket exhaust is fitted and the DRC is replaced by Bilstein components. The black interior has Black Nappa leather Recaro front seats, a Premium package, Audi Navigation Plus, Bluetooth phone connectivity, a glovebox-mounted 6-CD changer, and Bose sound. Carfax reports damage to the right side, rear, and right rear in March 2021. Per the listings, the right front fender and door, right rear quarter panel, and left front door was repaired and repainted in June 2021.
2002 Audi Allroad (121,000 Miles)

No Reserve. Light Silver metallic paint covers this long roof that’s equipped with Preferred Luxury, Premium, and Convenience packages. The black interior shows it age in places and has black/gray leather seats, wood trim, and an Audi Symphony CD/cassette stereo with Bose sound. The air suspension components were removed and 2Bennett Audimotive coilovers were installed along with Koni adjustable dampers and aftermarket front control arms. The twin-turbo 2.7L V6 is modified with a Stuklr stage 1 engine tune, had significant service in 2023 (see listing for details) and mates to a 6-speed manual in lieu of the OEM automatic. Carfax reports damage to the front in April 2003 and minor damage to the right rear and right side in August 2013 but no further details.
2021 Audi RS 6 Avant (32,000 Miles)

Another RS 6 but in long roof form and finished in Daytona Gray pearl. The only mods are paint protection film and tinted windows. While nicely equipped with Executive, Carbon Optic, and Driver Assistance packages, ceramic brakes, and sport exhaust, the Lemon Squad inspector pulled 12 codes. The listing’s Recent Service History also lists a lot of parts that have been replaced since March 2022. That should give most bidders a reason to ask questions of the seller. At least the Carfax is clean.
2014 Audi RS 5 Coupe (240 Miles)

This unicorn is Daytona Gray pearl over Lunar Silver with carbon fiber trim. This looks like an early production car with only two options: rear power shade and no front license plate bracket. The 4.2L V8 is factory rated at 450HP/317 lb-ft and pairs well with a 7-speed S tronic and Sport diff. Per the clean (of course) Carfax, the car has been serviced only once at 222 miles in August 2018.
2012 Audi A7 (26,000 Miles)

Here is a low mileage sportback looking elegant in Phantom Black pearl. The interior is Velvet Beige with heated and ventilated leather front seats, dark wood trim, Audi MMI Navigation Plus infotainment, and Bose sound. It’s also equipped with a 20″ Sport Package. The supercharged 3.0L V6 is factory rated at 310HP/325 lb-ft and bolts to an 8-speed Tiptronic. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the 2017-dated tires are getting a bit old.
2011 Audi A3 S Line (104,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This little avant is painted Ice Silver metallic and does have a few ‘age spots’ that reflect the mileage. The clean black interior has leather seats, an Audi Concert CD stereo, and a surprising amount of room. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 (200HP/207 lb-ft) had new plugs and ignition coils installed in fall 2024 and spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports only two owners and no accidents or damage.
2011 Audi R8 Coupe (33,000 Miles)

The 4.2L V8-powered version, Audi rated at 420HP/317 lb-ft, of the Type 42 here in Phantom Black pearl with body-color side blades. The transmission is a 6-speed R tronic, perhaps another candidate here for manual conversion? The black color extends inside to the leather seats, dashboard and door panels, and also the Alcantara headliner. It has Audi MMI infotainment, a Convenience package, and B&O sound too. The Carfax report is clean but there is a dent in the right-rear quarter panel (see pictures 82 and 83).
2017 Audi A4 Allroad (56,000 Miles)

No Reserve. This Prestige trim-level long roof is finished in Monsoon Gray metallic with black cladding. The interior features Nougat Brown leather seats and arm rests, heated/ventilated front seats, Driver Assistance, Warm and Cold Weather packages, Audi MMI infotainment with navigation and smartphone connectivity, and B&O sound. It also has an optional Sport Package. This generation of Audi’s turbocharged 2.0L I4 is rated at 252HP/273 lb-ft and connects to a 7-speed S tronic. Carfax reports three owners and no accidents or damage.
2018 Audi A4 S Line (50,000 Miles)

The RS-style front grille may give you a hint that this Glacier White metallic sedan is hiding something. Actually, lots of somethings for the 2.0L I4 engine: a TTE Global 440L hybrid turbocharger, TuneZilla Stage 3 ECU and TCU tunes, a CTS Turbo charge pipe, a CTS Turbo front mount intercooler, and an Injen air intake. Please read the listing for even more engine and cosmetic mods. The black interior has Nougat Brown leather seats and arm rests, a Convenience package, and aluminum trim. The Carfax is clean and the Lemon Squad inspection report found no issues.
1985 Audi Ur quattro (132,000 Miles)

Attention Eastern Canada Chapter members, this one’s in your area. It’s 1 of 73 originally delivered to the US market in MY 1985. The seller repainted it the original Zermatt Silver metallic in 2022 to address clearcoat failure. The Brazil Brown leather seats remind me of an old leather office chair. The A/C doesn’t blow cold but the seller believes it just needs a recharge. The turbocharged 2.1L I5 was factory rated at 160HP when new and it spins a 5-speed manual. Please see the listing for service done within the last 5k miles. The Carfax, for what little it’s worth, is clean.
2004 Audi S4 (20,000 Miles)

This B6 generation sedan is truly a BaT alumni: it bid to $21,250 in February 2023, sold at no reserve in March 2023 for $25,750, and now it’s listed again. The colors are Brilliant Red outside, black inside with Silk Nappa leather Recaro seats, wood trim, and an Audi Symphony CD stereo with Bose sound. The 4.2L V8 (340HP/302 lb-ft) had its serpentine belt, air conditioning condenser, and auxiliary radiators replaced in 2021 and spins a 6-speed manual. Carfax reports no accidents or damage.
2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder #59 (15,000 Miles)

Heads-up Western Canada Chapter members, this limited edition halo car is in Vancouver, BC. This Phantom Black pearl beauty with black soft top has the rare optional carbon fiber windshield frame plus luggage compartment and rear shelf covered in Alcantara. Inside are black leather seats with gray stitching, an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, carbon fiber inlays, WeatherTech floor mats, and B&O sound. The steering wheel has aftermarket carbon fiber shift paddles for the 6-speed R tronic and there’s also a radar detector. Paint protection film covers the hood, front bumper, and mirror caps. Carfax reports no accidents or damage but the tires are from 2017 and 2019, and the car needs service, an oil change per the listing’s comments.
2005 Audi S4 (50,000 Miles)

Ah, Nogaro Blue pearl outside, black/Nogaro Blue interior, and no mods. This classic looker sold on BaT in September 2024 for $17,500. Factory equipment includes a Premium Package, 18” Avus wheels, Silk Nappa leather/Alcantara Recaro seats, and Bose sound. Drivetrain: a 4.2L V8, 6-speed manual gearbox, and quattro. Carfax reports minor damage to the rear in May 2010, damage to the rear following a rear-end collision with another vehicle in September 2009, and damage is reported in February 2009 with no further details. The seller states that the rear bumper was replaced and also notes the headliner is sagging.
2016 Audi S3 (100,000 Miles)

This Monsoon Gray metallic over black compact sedan was purchased off c&b in March 2021 for $23k and has done a lot of miles since then. Its exterior reflects those miles. The interior has leather sport seats, an Audi MMI multimedia interface with navigation and retractable screen, and B&O sound. The 2.0L I4 under the hood is Audi rated at 292HP/280 lb-ft and bolts to a 6-speed S tronic. There’s a Lemon Squad inspection report and the Carfax report is clean but the seller does note the car needs tires soon.
