So this is different…we’ve had plenty of Videos of the Day with Mat Watson from carwow and our favorite cars but we’ve never seen anything like this. Mat takes an R8 RWD coupe and pits it against an R8 Spyder AWD on an indoor ski slope. At first, both R8s are equipped with summer tires and you can just imagine the results. However, they soon switch to winter tires and mayhem ensues. Ultimately, this rather comical drag race shows the importance of proper tires for the conditions you live in. Snow tires and quattro is hard to beat in the snow. Enjoy the video below.
