Updated Audi RS Q8 Spied at Nürburgring

With the updated Q8 and SQ8 already in American dealerships, it was only a matter of time before the updated RS Q8 finally made an appearance. And though we haven’t yet seen it undisguised, this liveried example not only confirms it’s ready to go but also hits at a likely second run at setting a Nürburgring lap record as they did with the first RS Q8. Consider this camo more for marketing purposes than actual disguise.

We note some updated details on the RS Q8, including updated headlights, new grille and bumper design. Worth mentioning too are the split-Y style wheels that, minus the red accent, appear spot on the same design seen on the RS 6 performance and RS 7 performance. This RS Q8’s livery also includes a cool map of the Nürburgring complete with names of corners and RS logos on accenting portions. What we don’t see though are the other modern details such as badging and four ring logos that no doubt will update to the latest Audi badge iconography.

Power will continue to come from the same 4.0-liter twin turbo as before, though its possible there’ll be a small power bump as we saw with the RS 6 / RS 7 performance pair.

Given the likely record run that Audi Sport is performing here, the livery may be an ironic easter egg since the debut of the RS Q8 is likely just around the corner.
