Throwback Thursday: SoWo 2015

It only feels like a little bit ago we were all planning to attend our next car event but 2020 had other plans. While most events are postponed or canceled, it gives us a perfect opportunity to take a look back at some previous shows.

The year is 2015, we are in beautiful Helen, GA. A little town in the woods inspired by German architecture. About 100 miles north of Atlanta. In the middle of May, perfect weather this time of year. Southern Worthersee was originally inspired by (most of you can properly guess) Worthersee, a week-long event in Austria that mostly attracts the VAG crowd.

In 2015, Audi has just introduced its updated A3/S3 models and the B8.5 allroad was starting to become a very popular vehicle to mod. Also Cheddar Da Connect’s “Flicka Da Wrist” was taking over Snapchat stories and the charts.

With so many good places to eat like “Old Bavaria Inn Restaurant” or the “Bodensee Restaurant”, it was a great weekend filled with German cars and friends from all over the country. Enjoy our full gallery below, and let us know if you attended!
