Audi has given its popular A3 lineup a significant upgrade for 2027, bringing a more modern interior, smarter technology, and a host of new driver-assistance features to its compact luxury car. Every version of the popular A3 model will benefit from the latest updates.

The biggest change is found inside. The redesigned cabin now features Audi’s latest curved panoramic display, which combines an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen. The dashboard has been completely reworked, creating a cleaner and more premium appearance. Audi also improved everyday usability with a new driver-oriented wireless charging tray capable of charging smartphones at up to 25 watts.

New Technology

Technology is another major focus. Audi has expanded the A3’s driver-assistance systems, adding new features that make commuting and long-distance driving easier. Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus can now help with steering, braking, and acceleration while also recognizing traffic lights. In certain situations, the system can automatically stop for a red light and continue driving when the light turns green. The updated system also uses online swarm data to better maintain lane position, even when road markings are difficult to see.

Parking has become much easier as well. New 360-degree cameras provide a detailed 3D view of the vehicle and its surroundings, while Park Assist Pro can automatically steer, brake, accelerate, and shift gears during parking maneuvers. A remote parking function even allows drivers to step out of the vehicle and complete the maneuver using the myAudi smartphone app. Audi has also introduced Trained Parking, which allows the A3 to memorize up to five frequently used parking routes, such as a tight garage or carport.

The updates extend beyond convenience features. Audi Connect services now allow owners to remotely monitor vehicle status, including tire pressures, fuel level, range, service intervals, and whether doors or windows were left open. Remote locking, unlocking, and climate control functions are also available through the myAudi app.

The upgraded A3 range will arrive at European dealerships in September 2026. With a more advanced interior, smarter technology, and expanded driver-assistance features, Audi’s compact luxury car is becoming more capable than ever.
