Submit Your Audi for the Petersen Museum and Michelin Virtual Monterey Car Week

Join the Petersen Museum and Michelin for a Legends of the Autobahn livestream and showcase your car in front of the virtual Car Week audience!

This season has been an uncertain one for car shows and gatherings, and one of the first to be rescheduled to 2021 was Monterey Car Week, the iconic Pacific Coast gathering of the finest automobiles from around the world. For many, Car Week is a homecoming of sorts, a chance to meet old friends and new in the temperate villages and vineyards of the Monterey Peninsula.

To fill the void, Los Angeles’ Petersen Museum (an internationally-renowned auto and culture museum, and an essential stop for any enthusiast visiting Southern California) has partnered with Monterey Car Week events to create a virtual Petersen Car Week, featuring enthusiast cars, new vehicle unveilings, celebrations of automotive history, and a couple surprises along the way. The event will take the form of a live stream between August 12 and 16, and many of Monterey’s major events—including Legends of the Autobahn—will be participating.

But the most important part of a virtual Car Week—and Legends of the Autobahn—is your cars. The BMW CCA, along with Audi Club North America and the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, are putting out the call to members and enthusiasts to submit your vehicles and your stories.

Here’s how to enter:

  • Record a video with your car (horizontally if on a mobile phone, please). Virtual LOTA will take place over the course of a 40-minute stream, so please limit your videos to 90 seconds or less, if possible.
  • Upload your video to the hosting platform of your choice (Dropbox, WeTransfer, Vimeo, and YouTube are preferred)
  • Submit your video via the BMW CCA Petersen Car Week Submission Form (click here)
  • Submit before Wednesday, July 22

The Legends team knows this is a short deadline, but we want to make sure we can assemble your videos into our stream for the Petersen. The team looks forward to seeing and showcasing your cars, even if we can’t witness them in person!

The stream will be live at the same time as Legends of the Autobahn would have opened to the public: Friday, August 14, 2020 at 9:45 a.m at the Petersen’s Virtual Car Week site. We look forward to sharing your cars with the world—and seeing you in person next year!
