In the old battle between all motor vs forced induction, a new battle forms between an AWD German supercar and a RWD British supercar. In this video from Auto Express, the mighty R8 V10 plus Spyder goes up against the McLaren 570s Spider. Last week, the R8 went up against its smaller brother, the RS 3, and won.
On paper, the McLaren has 40 less horses, 2 less cylinders but is 463 pounds lighter and has 30 lb/ft more torque at peak RPM. Will AWD and all motor overcome these factors? Watch and see.
