Spy Photo: Lamborghini Huracán Successor

We have some photos of the prototype for the upcoming Lamborghini Huracán successor. The front end shows some thin lights with the octagonal shaped LED lights under. Those are also working as the indicators. Fun to see are also the stickers that show some Gallardo headlight style. The shape of the rear lights are hard to see as they still look provisional under the plastic covers with the fake light stickers.

Straight away we can see that it will share some details from the Revuelto, the plug-in hybrid tech and the higher central mounted exhaust pipes. Yes pipes since we can see two pipes inside the big pipe. There will also be some changes regarding the powertrain since the as-yet-unnamed Huracán replacement ditches the iconic V10 that’s been used by both Lamborghini and Audi for its own specifically-designed V8 according to the latest rumors. And that V8 will get some extra power via a battery pack and some electric motors. This will not only help the new Lamborghini to pass toughening emission rules but also help the V8 to more power and to reduce lag.

The new “baby-Lambo” will also make use of the same lightweight and strong “monofuselage” that first debuted in the Lamborghini Revuelto but in order to save some money, more of the structure will be made of aluminum instead of carbon fiber.

The debut is said to be at the end of 2024 so there is still plenty of time to develop and to shoot some more photos.
