With the B10 internal combustion engine (ICE) offerings switching to the alphanumeric “5” range within the Audi brand, the next S5 Sportback is set to replace both the S4 sedan and the S5 Sportback within the lineup… at least the ICE side of the lineup. In as much, an example of the S5 Sportback was caught winter testing this week.
While we’ve seen presumed S-versions of the B10 in the past, we only really knew that due to the S-car specific quad exhaust tips on those mules. This latest version includes more telltale signs, including more sporting front bumper and grille that appears to be consistent with other recent S-car designs (SQ8, SQ7).
