Spied: Audi RS 5 Sedan in Final Bodywork

Following closely on the heels of last week’s B10 RS 5 Avant test mule photos are more of the RS 5 sedan version. We’re getting ever closer to the final reveal of the new RS 5, and this mule proves the 4-door version is now in final countdown.

There are several changes to note. Most obvious are the updated rear fenders that have traded their tacked on arch flares for more finished “box” flare fenders that are likely production. Also likely production is that augmented rear trunk lid spoiler plus the massive and more centrally placed exhaust tips.

As expected, appears to be a plug-in hybrid with charging port flap on the left side opposite the right side gas cap. Expect this to be paired with an updated version of the current model’s biturbo V6.

Though the Avant isn’t yet confirmed for the USA or Canada (and some would argue it’s not looking good for the long roof), we have it on good authority that the sedan with its hatchback body style (no idea why it’s not being called Sportback) will be coming to North America.
