Have you ever wanted to find ways to get more involved in Audi Club Northwest but weren’t sure how? Maybe you have some great ideas or skills that would benefit the club but you aren’t sure how to put them to use? A great way to get involved is to join the Board of Trustees!
If you’ve ever been to our website, received an email from us, or been to any of our events, then you already know at least one member of our Board of Trustees. What you may not realize is that the Board does many different things that are also out of the spotlight to support our membership, our events, and our community.
Activities Board members are also involved in include:
- Publishing our quarterly newsletter
- Managing the club website www.audiclubnw.org
- Working with our amazing sponsors
- Supporting our dedicated volunteers in event coordination, planning, and registration
- And so much more!
If you’ve thought about becoming more engaged and feel that you might want to be involved in these activities, now is your opportunity. It is that time of year when we conduct our annual Audi Club Northwest Board of Trustees election. Because we have a staggered election schedule 3 of the 5 seats are up for Election this year. We also have a 4th seat that was vacated and filled. Due to the bylaws we also have to add this seat into this year’s election and again into next years, confusing but necessary due to the unexpected vacated seat we had. The typical Board term is a 2 year seat, ACNW does not elect the Board position during the Election but has chosen to look at the elected groups collective skills and assign positions once elected.
Consider this our enthusiastic call for nominees! If you’d like to learn more about what it means to be an Audi Club Northwest board member and/or put your name into the running, please email your questions, concerns or nominations to any of the board members, their information can be found athttp://www.audiclubnw.org/page/contact or you can simply reply to this email. Please let us know by August 7 if you would like to be included as a nominee. You will need to provide a small Bio on yourself and information for us to include for club members to read and vote on.
