Our friends and Audi Club Potomac Chesapeake chapter sponsor, New German Performance, took two cars to Indianapolis…and won. Tristan Herbert, driving the #44 Audi RS 3 LMS, won the 1st race of the TC America race this morning. He crossed the finish line 0.280 seconds in front of the #04 Honda Civic Type-R driven by CJ Moses. Vinnie Lima, Audi Club Potomac Chesapeake member, finished 5th. His #88 car had to be rebuilt after an incident in practice. The NGP crew finished the repairs at 4am this morning, a couple of hours before the race began.
