The past week was a whirlwind for Audi Sport fans when it was finally confirmed that Audi will join F1 in 2026 and today, Audi Sport dropped a teaser photo of the new RS Q e-tron. The reveal will be on Thursday, September 1st. Not familiar with the RS Q e-tron? It’s Audi’s return to the famous Dakar Rally but with modern technology such as the alternative drive concept of the Audi RS Q e-tron that combined an electric drivetrain with a high-voltage battery and a highly-efficient energy converter.
The Audi RS Q e-tron debuted at the 2022 Dakar Rally and scored 4 stage victories and 14 stage podium results. It then seized its 1st overall victory at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge in only its second race. Ken Block loves it and it even dragged an RS e-tron GT.
