Multi-Time Rallycross Champion Tanner Foust Joins Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in 2021 Nitro RX Series

Multi-time Rallycross champion Tanner Foust has been named to drive the No. 34 Rockstar Energy Audi EKS Quattro SuperCar for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in the inaugural Nitro RX series this year which gets underway on Sept. 24-25 in the series debut weekend at Utah Motorsports Campus.
 
Foust, a Colorado native who currently resides in Newport Beach, CA, is one of the most versatile drivers in the world with a variety of championship titles in Rallycross, Rally Racing, Formula Drift and the famed X Games (four gold medals).
 
Known for his supreme car control, Tanner captured Rallycross titles in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2019 as well as Formula Drift series crowns in 2007 and 2008.
Foust’s DRR Audi EKS Quattro SuperCar will feature a primary sponsorship from Rockstar Energy drink as well as partnerships with Optima Battery and WIX Filters.
 
In addition, the University of Colorado graduate has established numerous world records including a spectacular “Hot Wheels Double Loop Dare” which saw Foust drive a car through a 66-foot loop-the-loop and a long distance jump with Hot Wheels jumping 332-feet jump in a truck at the 2011 Indy 500. He also set the indoor speed record while hosting the History Channel’s Top Gear USA.
 
Foust is the first American driver to win a round of the European Rallycross Championship, the World Rallycross Championship and the winningest driver in U.S. Rallycross. Foust has been a dominant driver in rallycross since the sport of rallycross was first introduced in the United States in 2010.
 
His varied race experience includes multiple years of open wheel competition, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Rally Racing, various types of sports car racing and the SCORE Baja 1000. He has represented the USA in the annual Race of Champions three times (2010, 2009, 2008) while also performing stunt driving duties in some of Hollywood biggest blockbuster movies doubling Jason Stathem, Keanu Reeves, Chris Hemsworth and Paul Walker.

Foust and the DRR Nitro RX team will compete in the five-weekend starting at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantville, UT, on September 24-25; followed by ERX Motor Park in Minneapolis, MN, on October 2-3; Wildhorse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ, on November 13-14; Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA, on November 20-21 and The Firm in North Florida on December 4-5.
