The Audi V8...yes there was a model just called the Audi V8. Built between 1988 and 1993, this was Audi's flagship and the 1st one to have a V8. They ran in DTM and won back-to-back driver's titles in 1990 and 1991 with Hans-Joachim Stuck and Frank Biela. There were 2 V8s available in the D1: the 3.6L and the more familiar 4.2L.
