Italdesign Teases Concept for Beijing Auto Show

While Audi-owned Italdesign revealed full-on CGI renderings of its Asso di Picche concept bound for Milan Design Week, it offered just this shrouded tease of a second concept bounder for Beijing. According to a company press release, the car is known as Quintessenza.

ItalDesign revealed a few more pieces of information in a subsequent release. In it they stated:

At AUTO CHINA 2024, held at the New China International Exhibition Center Tianzhu in Beijing (New CIEC), from April 25 to May 4, the Italdesign stand W1-W05 in the Area W1-W will host the world debut of Quintessenza® (meaning Quintessence), a high-end concept, with an eye-catching designgreat functionality, and state-of-the-art features.

“For the Beijing Auto China, one of the most important motor shows in the world, in the year of the Dragon,” stated Joaquin Garcia, Italdesign Head of Design, “we drew inspiration from the four elements of Matter, Earth, Water, Air and Fire, and the fifth constituent element that to us is the Human BeingQuintessenza means to be precisely the fusion of all five elements, and it is sure to captivate the media and everyone attending the event.”
