The Golden Gate Board of Directors would like to announce the following news regarding two of our Board Members… and one new member!
David Vrane, long time Audi Club Member, Board Member and Chief Instructor has resigned his position on the Board as Chief Instructor. David has been actively involved with the club for five plus years participating in HPDEs and Teen Driver Safety Clinics, sharing his knowledge and expertise with us all. David will be greatly missed. He will continue to participate with the club as a member at large — we look forward to seeing him at future Audi events! Kat Hsueh, who has been acting as Co‑Chief Instructor will now assume this Chief Instructor role.
Gregg Gumbinger, another long time Audi Club Member, ACNA Board Member and our current Treasurer will also be leaving the Board at the end of May. Gregg joined ACNA and the Golden Gate Chapter decades ago and has been a contributor on the current Board of Directors for the past two plus years. Gregg played a major role supporting our social events including the Griffin Open Houses, Cahoon Ranch and Legends of the Autobahn. Gregg will be missed!
With Gregg leaving, Mike Lowe (aka Mikey Bobby), a current Board Member, has graciously volunteered to step in as Treasurer and still do everything else he is doing to help the club! Mike is a successful business owner and is no stranger to managing finances. He will review, consolidate and report on our numbers, issue payments to vendors and more. Thank you, Mike!
We would like to welcome Mark Feinberg who was recently appointed to the Board of Directors. Mark’s first official event was the Teen Driver Safety Clinic on Sunday, April 21. We look forward to working with Mark and thank him for the commitment of time and energy he will certainly devote as an active member of the Board. Mark has decades’ of experience with HPDEs. Welcome Mark!
