Find of the Day: Rare B7 Audi RS4 Cabriolet Returns to Auction, This Time with No Reserve

This 2008 Audi RS4 Cabriolet is one of just 300 B7 RS4 Cabriolets that were sold in North America. Back in June it was listed on Cars & Bids and failed to sell with a high bid of $26,000. Now, it is back on Cars & Bids and this time it will sell as it is offered with no reserve.

This is an exceptionally cool car. Not only is it rare, but it combines the wonderful 4.2L V8 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and a convertible top. What more could you ask for? With 61,000 miles on the odometer, the car has averaged less than 4,000 miles a year. Low, but not so low that you would be afraid to drive it.

If you are the glass is half empty type, let’s look at some flaws. The Carfax report shows an accident in 2011 that resulted in damage to the right side of the car. There are some paints chips on the exterior, and the wheels have some curb rash. The seats and interior trim show a bit of wear. That is a relatively short list and the pros far outweigh the cons on this one.

The car is showroom stock with the exception of an H&R adjustable rear sway bar. The original rear sway bar is included with the sale. Maintenance records are solid with a lot of work being done on the car within the last year. This work includes the replacement of the front upper inner control arm bushings, expansion tank, windshield washer pump, and washer fluid sensor. New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were fitted in January 2022 and have roughly 4,000 miles on them.

The car is triple black with Phantom Black Pearl Effect paint, a black soft top and a black interior. Factory equipment includes 19-inch wheels, heated front sport seats, and a Bose sound system.
