One of the interesting phenomena of the modern Bring-A-Trialer style auction site era is the low mileage and well-preserved specimens that surface with a surprisingly regular pace. Those cars that were purchased then driven at a rate much lower than the national average create a veritable treasure trove of perfect specimens for collectors with very specific tastes. So, if you’re looking for a C5 A6 to add to your collection, this one may be for you.
Specifically, this is an A6 2.7T quattro, meaning it had the same biturbo V6 found in the B5 S4, but in Audi’s more elegant and luxurious middleweight A6. While a 6-speed manual transmission was available, this one has the Tiptronic automatic, and is built with Pearlescent White paint over Ecru (tan-ish) leather. It’s also got optional factory BBS-style wheels.
