Find of the Day: 2003 Goodwood Green Audi S6 Avant

I was scrolling through Facebook trying to find my next picks for our weekly Find of the Day: Throwdown Edition livestream when I ran across this. I knew that it would probably be gone before Friday so I decided to present it here. What you are looking at is a 1 of 2 Goodwood Green with Ebony/Alcantara S6 Avant. It was the color combo that attracted me to this Avant…a lot of green cars in the 90s/early 00s had a tan interior which may be pleasing to some but not me.

Actually, I probably would make an exception for a C5 S6 even if it had a tan interior. Here’s the ad:

I think it is time to part with my S6. This is a 2003 S6 Avant in Goodwood Green with ebony leather/alcantara interior. It’s 1 of 2 in the US. The other 24 Goodwood Green cars had different interiors. It has 161k on it and it will go up as this is my daily. Timing service was done at 105k and is good for around 100k on these cars. I have the service records back to around 70k miles from the previous owner and myself.

Changes I’ve done: RS6 SE Exhaust RS6 Carbon Fiber interior trim S5 Peelers Morimoto HID bulbs 4500k 20% tint all around except the windshield Ceramic pads front and rear. Rotors have about 20k on them

The good: Runs well, starts every time, never left me stranded Needs nothing right now Rare and well maintained No CEL The dash lights work well and only get the typical fade in warm weather Radio and all speakers perform flawlessly. Only one dead line in the radio (typical)

The bad: Headliner is sagging in the rear Someone scraped the front driver corner in a parking lot. I claimed this on insurance. Damage was minimal The paint on the wheels is chipped in a few spots when I bought them. Could use fresh paint or a powdercoat

Will come with: Extra fuel pump Extra starter motor Extra trunk latch regulator Never installed Magnaflow x-pipe Extra front bumper without holes for a front plate. Was going to get this repainted GwG and installed. Never got around to it. Would really like to trade for a 2011+ VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI or asking $12k obo. Clean title on hand, no lien

With the legendary 4.2 V8, I bet this Avant sounds fantastic. It needs a few cosmetic fixes but it’s a 17 year old daily driver so that’s expected. Maintenance records going back to 70k (it currently has 161k). It’s listed in our Audi Club North America – Classifieds Facebook page for $12,000. If this last til Friday, I would 1) be surprised, and 2) be a little peeved that I presented it today. You can find the ad HERE.
