If you have been following our Find of the Day stories, you’ll notice that we like Ur-quattros…a lot.

So when I opened my daily email from bringatrailer.com, I was excited to see this heading: 1985 Audi Ur-quattro. This Tornado Red example is a Canadian market car and is said to be one of only 99 sold during its run.

Here’s the ad:

This 1985 Audi Ur-Quattro was originally purchased at Capilano Audi in Vancouver, British Columbia and is said to be one of 99 examples sold in the Canadian market for the total model run. Registered in British Columbia or Alberta through its life, the all-wheel-drive coupe was purchased by the seller four years ago from its previous owner of 14 years and now shows just under 204k kilometers (~127k miles). The car is finished in Tornado Red over black leather and features several cosmetic updates that came with the 1985 model year. Power is from a turbocharged 2.1-liter inline-five paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, and service within the last 2,500 miles included a new timing belt, water pump, drive belts, suspension and subframe bushings, shocks, brakes, and Pirelli tires. This Ur-Quattro is now being offered with its original manuals, service booklet, and brochure, as well as a clean Carproof report and a clear British Columbia title in the seller’s name.

This car is very clean and has been repainted the original Tornado Red. The interior is flawless and there has been a lot of service/new parts done to the car.

Go to Bring A Trailer to see the photos and read the rest of the ad. Better hurry though…when I first clicked on the ad, the bid was $25,000. An hour later, it was up to $42,000.
