Find of the Day: 1985 Audi Coupe GT

Overshadowed by its quattro sibling, the Coupe GT is still a favorite of those in the know. Swap in a 20v turbo 5 cylinder and it’ll give its sibling a run for its money. Plus, you can get these for a fraction of an ur-quattro. This is a nice example of a Coupe GT and it has the aforementioned engine swap. Here’s the ad:

Engine swap completed 5 cylinder sounds excellent with magnaflow muffler Clean body, no major rust, paint in great shape for the age. The hood was resprayed and needs wetbsanded or resprayed to be perfect. Clean complete interior Typical Audi issues of this era, dash gauges work intermittently. Does not have ac but heat works. Overall a decent example of a classic Audi, would be great candidate for someone to go through and tidy up the engine swap or drive as is for a fun enthusiast cruiser. Will consider trades up or down for 20v turbo sedans or 3.2 Audi tts Please only contact me if serious and have the capability to buy.

Obviously, I don’t know the history of this car and don’t know how long it lived in Ohio but it looks relatively non rusty. For the price, you can look pretty cool at the next RADwood. Listed for $8,000, you can find it on Facebook Marketplace HERE.
