Find of the Day: 1982 Audi 100

Oldtimer – a German, Dutch and Hungarian term for a vintage, antique or classic car. This 1983 Audi 100 definitely fits the description and with the mods done? It’s so desirable. Here’s the ad (translated from German):

I would like to sell my Audi 100 as I now have other projects coming up. It is a CD 5E, accordingly with velor, electric windows, sunroof, etc.

The car was moved to number 07 (H approval correspondingly available) and therefore does not have a TÜV (last TÜV for me in 2018). I won’t bother with new MOTs either, that should be clear to everyone. You can also continue driving on the 07 model.

I am the third owner – first owner from 1983 (MY 82, was at the dealer until 83) until 2005, second owner from 2005 to 2017 (since 2013 on 07 license plate).
The Audi has been driven around 9000km since 2018. No maintenance backlog, just get in, drive off and enjoy.

Air suspension custom-made.
16″ OZ Futura with 195/40 Hankook.
Audi 200 headlights and front spoiler.
Homemade exhaust system from the manifold.
Front seats renewed with original fabric covers and upholstery.
Radio in the glove compartment (original radio not included), active woofer under the back seat.
The chassis removal is located in the spare wheel well, everything is insulated and covered with car carpet.
Final tips made in 2018.
The car was repainted by the previous owner in 2006.
The wooden steering wheel is not included.

2018 Gear oil, various seals, axle boots, etc. renewed
2019 Valve cover gasket, alternator and starter overhauled, fuel pressure accumulator, radiator, wheel bearings, ignition complete, all bearings (engine/gearbox/axles/wishbone) and many small things new.

Since then the car has been driven around 3000km.

I’ll still do a fresh oil change.

As you can see, it’s located in Germany but lucky for you, it is importable. This 100 looks to be in fabulous condition and I miss actual louvres in the rear window. Listed for €15,999 ($16,907 USD), this could be yours for around $20,000 imported to the States. You can find this 1982 Audi 100 old-timer HERE.
