If you’re a TT enthusiast, then heads up because one of the most desirable special edition TT RS models just came available in California and appears to be listed by a private party in Newport Beach, California. Back in 2022, Audi of America did a send off for the TT RS called the Heritage Edition. Only 50 cars were built, including five different color combinations based on classic Audi colors. There were only 10 of each color.
This particular car (VIN: WUAASAFV3N1900757) is one of the Malachite Green examples and has only logged 3,000 miles. For those who don’t know, Malachite Green was produced on a very limited number of Sport quattros back in 1984. Paired with Cognac Brown interior and special touches like that partial Alcantara steering wheel, it is a very tasteful and rare car.
The seller says he’s had the car since May of 2022 and that the only modification is a cat-less downpipes, though admits he has the original should the next owner wish to reinstall it. That owner is asking $86,900, which is tall money for a Mk3 TT RS, but given this is the first one we’ve seen on the market, then it might be worth the premium for someone who simply must have one of these cars.
