It’s funny what shows up in my email…Hey Nerds, Audi-inspired beer. Find of the day for ACNA? Gotta love your friends, right? It was effective though because…well, I’m writing about it.
Melvin Brewing is an award-winning brewery located in Alpine, WY. I heard that the owner is a big fan of Audi, such a big fan that he and his crew developed this, Cloudy 5000.
It sounds really good but there’s a problem…I’m nowhere near their brewery nor one of their 3 brewpubs (Alpine, WY, Jackson, WY, and Eureka, MO). Bummer. Also, Cloudy 5000 is part of their Rotational Imperial IPA series which means that it’s a limited series. If you’re in the area, pick up some and let us know what you think. If I were anywhere near it, I’d be Audi 5000. Thanks for the heads up, Will.
