Event: Audi Tradition at F.A.T. Ice Race, Austria

2024 has just barely begun, and Audi Tradition has begun the year strong with participation in the F.A.T. International Ice Race (formerly GP Ice Race) in Zell Am See, the spiritual hometown of the Porsche family.

Given the event is a Porsche family affair, its reintroduction a few years ago by Ferdi Porsche, the Volkswagen Group brands are typically a major supporter. This year, Audi chose to focus on primarily a short wheelbase focus with a Sport quattro S1 Group B, Ken Block’s S1 Hoonitron, Audi Deutschland’s GP Ice Race edition RS e-tron GT and the Sport quattro road car Audi Tradition wrapped to compliment the GT.

Audi typically brings well-known drivers to pilot its cars around the Ice Race circuit. This year, that driver was Harald Demuth, the rally driver whose ties with Audi reach back to its earliest rally involvement.

Special thanks to Audi Tradition for sharing these photos of the event. Check out more information on F.A.T. International and the Zell Am See Ice Race HERE. Also worth noting, Audi Tradition will also be taking Michèle Mouton’s 1985 Pike’s Peak winning Sport quattro and the 90 IMSA GTO racecar to the upcoming F.A.T. International Ice Race in Aspen, Colorado. More info on the American event in Aspen can be found HERE.
