New Spider-Man Trailer Drops with S.H.I.E.L.D. Rocking e-trons

Marvel and Sony Pictures have dropped the first official trailer for SPIDER-MAN: Far from Homewhat fan footage revealed back in October movie that’s due to drop July 5 and the spot confirms , that Audi and the new e-tron will play a role. The Audi brand was already part of the first iteration of this most recent Spider-Man re-boot that’s part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but Far from Home likely marks the big screen debut of the e-tron.

The trailer itself is just under three minutes long, so not exactly lengthy. Even still, a quick inspection of the video reveals at least two short clips of Audi placement. First is what looks like an attack on London Bridge where several of Peter Parker’s friends are running for their lives past an older A5 and a current Q5 or SQ5. Later, we see the film’s view of the film set footage that leaked last fall, showing S.H.I.E.L.D. rolling up behind Spider-Man in a new A7 (or S7 perhaps) and a black e-tron.

From the October footage, we know Spider-Man is at least meeting with Jake Gyllenhaal’s character Mysterio, though the details are the meeting are unclear. In the shot, you can see Nick Fury getting out of the passenger side of the e-tron. Beyond that, we don’t know the full details of the inclusion, but we’re hoping there’s some flying car action as that was always a staple of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the comic books even if they haven’t used them yet in the MCU.
