BBS CI-R Unlimited and BBS CH-R II Unlimited for the new Audi RS 5 (B10)

The new Audi RS 5 (B10) is the brand’s first RS model with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, pairing a 510-hp 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 (600 Nm) with a 177-hp electric motor (460 Nm) for a combined 639 hp. The BBS CI-R Unlimited and BBS CH-R II Unlimited wheels are available for both the RS 5 Avant and sedan.

“With the BBS CI-R Unlimited, we went for a clean Y-spoke design with flowing, delicate lines that give the RS 5 a sense of visual lightness,” says BBS Brand Manager Tri-Ky Huynh. “On this RS 5, we fitted the CI-R Unlimited in Diamond Grey Gloss, in 21 inches.” The CI-R Unlimited comes in seven colors, with mounting bolts available in three color options. Colored rim protectors, valve caps, and 25 center cap designs allow for even more customization. On this RS 5 (B10), subtly lowered on a set of KW height-adjustable springs, the wheels measure 10.0 x 21 inches with offset 11 up front and 10.5 x 21 inches with offset 15 at the rear, wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires sized 285/30R21. KW automotive offers the CI-R Unlimited in 19, 20, and 21 inches, nine widths from 8 to 12 inches, and four concavity levels; the car pictured wears concavity level 3.

“Our BBS CH-R II Unlimited draws on our classic motorsport look, built around a clean twin-spoke design,” says Huynh, describing the two-piece wheel. The CH-R II Unlimited is available in 20, 21, and 22 inches, seven widths from 8.5 to 11.5 inches, and three concavity levels. On this RS 5 (B10), riding on KW height-adjustable springs, the two-piece wheels at concavity level 3 fill the wheel arches nicely: 10.5 x 21 inches with offset 17 up front, 11.0 x 21 inches with offset 21 at the rear, on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires sized 295/30R21. “Because each wheel is made to order, we can even finish the two-piece CH-R II Unlimited in two colors. On the car pictured, the wheel center is white-gold gloss, while the rim barrels are matte black.” The rim barrel is available in black or titanium, in matte or gloss; the wheel center comes in black, diamond grey, racing gold, white gold, or bronze, in satin or gloss. BBS Unlimited accessories, rim protectors, center caps, wheel bolts, valve caps, are available in a range of colors and finishes, and the connecting bolts come in black or titanium too, for up to 80 possible color combinations. Titanium wheel-mounting bolts round out the range.

A near-perfect fit: the BBS Unlimited adapter works with almost any 5-bolt pattern

Every BBS Unlimited wheel uses the BBS Unlimited bolt pattern of 5×117.5 mm and can be adapted to fit nearly any 5-bolt vehicle. Adapters are available for bolt patterns 5×100, 5×108, 5×110, 5×114.3, 5×115, 5×120, 5×120.65, 5×127, 5×128, 5×130, and 5×132 mm, as well as Audi’s own 5×112 mm pattern. Patented BBS centering rings ensure a precise fit and true, consistent runout. Available in thicknesses from 14 to 50 mm, they let dealers fine-tune offset to the vehicle. That keeps inventory simple: a handful of Unlimited wheels, adapters, and mounting hardware cover a far wider range of vehicles than a dedicated fitment would.
